You think with age Tolga and Fatin would have mellowed out a bit 😅 but nope and it's freaking hilarious that they're busting Aiden's chops just as much as they did to Kyle. 😂
The devs r truly community listeners and know what we want.
They went extremely easy on Aiden compared to Kyle
@@dragonplayer55 If they were that good listeners, it would not take them 2 years to bring things to a more or less proper state. And there are still tons of bugs and glitches, most of them minor, yet they still have not fixed them.
@@Leadenman23 atleast they r fixing it, introducing new things and who doesnt love goofy ass bugs/glitches, obviously the game breaking bugs/glitches r truly hateable, and yeah your point makes sense cause that shouldve got fixed in weeks, they all went on vacation after making the game and having the money, or were too distracted.
Edit: The point is community doesnt care, fix the bugs and dont supply with goddamn dlcs

It’s really funny how they got two different voice actors who voiced two different characters but have the exact same voice as each other
Personally the finishers are way better in DL2, since Aiden actually uses the weapon he has instead of Kyle Crane just using his hands.
Kyle Crane palming a zombie in the face to counter a grab is bad ass as shit

There are some improvements they can still take from DL1 like Radial blur, flashlight, dynamic skybox, blood, physics, better climbing animation, dismemberment sfx, zombies looking at sunset, volatiles actually being a threat instead of being spammed everywhere in the map and disapperaring when you enter a safezone
yeah I totally agree that dripping blood and blood pool could be more cooler and better then DL1, I really hope they can add Nvidia FleX even its for experiment.

@@Bloodhurl67 Dying light 2 climbing animations are rather very clipping and sometimes doesn't fuction well you see. Ever did a comparison with E3 Climbing animation and how smoothly it works? But In retail Dying light 2 u can see hand sometimes teleport to roof before aiden even reaches there or sometimes when you want to go left or right while climbing hands won't fuction as intended and causes clipping with other arm.
@@weplo1597 this is cap, climbing in DL2 is as similar to DL1 without the speed boost and with dif animations, other then that its quite literally such a similar system, you are malding bad

Idk if i understood your comment but if you're reff3ring to the stopping to open a door. Just dash/dart and aiden will fling it open (works with the red doors in gre quarantine sites too!)

They should absolutely add back hitstop to weapon attacks. Without it, its like your weapon is phasing through them

I meant when you used to hit enemies, the weapons animation would slow down for a sec, as if you really did hit a guy. Yes weapons bounce off enemies, but don't have the same "drag" they used to have..

One thing more they can add is the sound(Background noise) of virals which is triggered when you fire with a weapon, just like in the first game. This makes the DL1 more scarier☠ then any other game out there. And also they can add random sounds of virals and metal pipes mixed with the new villedor vibes like breaking of glass or others like in DL1.
These small sound effect things has made the first DL1 game scarier for me surely it will do with DL2 as well.
Bro virals are currently attracted to ANY sound you make in the game. You walk 10 steps and one spawns
@@aidensmith5304 Sorry I need to clarify this a bit, it's my bad I written sound there it is the music which plays in the background when you shoot in air in DL1. To be more specific listen to the background noise when you shoot in air in DL1 that's the sound I am talking about.
Like omg when your low level, jump on a roof an the roof breaks and make a hell of a noise and you hear in the distance virals getting angry and you know they're coming for you 💀

Don't forget Bounty boards aswell. They were in the first one and were recently added to Dl2.
I appreciate they have implemented features, however they have yet to fix the rain effects inside of buildings and the waypoint randomly changing to a point outside of the map, amoungst other bugs seen since release.
Camouflage has been in the game since November 10, 2022. They did say they’ll add the old version back, the one where you get from the infected.

Although I like the changes but I still think its criminal how crane and now aider find a protein or chocolate bar and takes ONE bite before throwing it away
Now we just need the Real Kyle Crane as an Outfit. Kinda like what they did with Hakon. Hakon Outfit Aiden wears and then the REAL Hakon Appearance. They should do that but with Kyle Crane.
You know, I feel like all that would do is create a situation where people would want a fan service thing (like Dead rising 2 off the record) where we got to play through some of the story as Crane.
Such a theme with games these days is to release it half-baked then finish it 2 years later.

2"Can only be crafted"while you were able to do it with corpses like before

Dying light 1 became trivialised with both the camo and grapple hook as they were just so broken. Dl2 balances them so much better.
@@marge3199Yeah, no it doesn’t. It just makes it less fun to use or makes it trivial to the game. The camouflage is basically pointless and the grapple hook would be better if you could swing with it or choose to pull yourself with it.

Wait, what? Camo is back? When did it happen? Crazy how I keep going back to experience what was there out of the box in DL1! Not complaining here, just appreciating them listening. How do we make feature requests to Techland? I've long wanted the ability to have more variety to kicks and punches, like Jesus in TWD. That'd be awesome to unleash some dope looking double round house kicks Akuma style! Body slamming zombies into groups for crowd control!

The Tolga and Fatin questline in 2 are the worst quests in the whole franchise, and I'll die on that hill.
Throwing in the overdone multiverse concept, giving universe-ending stakes to a damn side quest, depicting Aiden as this Edward Richtofen-esque character to exasperate Techlands issue of disconnecting their protagonists from the setting, and capping it off with a bad version of the Following's ending choice that misses what made that ending good.
Besides that (and maybe guns, I wish Techland didn't cave to demands,) all these other editions are good.

It's called the hooded night runner It's Aidens orginal outfit you can get it from harper by leveling up by doing his bounties, he's at the the fisheye above your safe house, talk to him and get started

In the first game you dropped kicked zombie babies into oblivion, became friends temporarily with zombies who can talk, met aliens and nuked the planet. Dying Light was never super serious in the first place.

Dying light 2 doesn't have to be more like 1 it has to be better than 1, which is what sequels are supposed to do to improve on their predecessor.
Lol the irony, because for most games with sequels, the sequels are getting worse and worse xD
Will take a while... Took them 2 years to reimplement 8 features that DL1 had at launch (10, if we count Volatiles roaming at night and weapon repair). I'd give them another full year before DL2 can completely surpass DL1 so they can actually add content worthy of a proper sequel. Credit where credit is due, many of these features are also more refined than they were in the first game.
BUT, they are still picking up the pieces and I don't feel sorry for them at all. All those years building goodwill with DL1 and it's updates, only to deliver a half-assed sequel. Still, they took their money, better keep working to deliver what was actually expected. They seem to be heading the way that CDPR did with Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 so that's great!

Look this game has definitely improved but I still feel like there is a lot more to fix they did a half ass job with zombie physics I still see zombies floating halfway off rooftops and with the parkour I can still kinda feel the float Idk the float is probably just me. Oh and the map on dl2 should be like the map in dl1 were you could not only sense where the virals are but see where they are on the map

As far as I’m concerned the physics are wayy better now. Pretty sure we’ve gotten past the floating rooftop thing in that one update they did. As for the map just go and play dying light 1. The atmosphere in those games are supposed to be different and I highly pray that techland doesn’t pander to you fanatics anymore
