Many thanks, it makes sense with the icon that was on but that clean filter signal threw me. Now I have clean filters and beyond and I am aware that I have the child lock feature after 3 years 😂.

I cleaned filter and it still said check filter with a red lock symbol and CL and I couldn’t do anything i tried to unplug and all kinds of other things they told me to do on TH-cam but I finally found yours and it worked instantly and unlocked!! I’m so happy! I couldn’t use my dryer for 2 days I thought I was gonna have to have it fixed! Thank you ☺️
Our washer machines are newer than those and not even a month in use we came across this problem. Only thing was that ours was clean. Tried this method and it saved me from my wife beating me lol

It’s not really the dryers fault at all, someone has to manually press and hold that button for it to show up
