    Going on having my dryer 2 years, this was throwing d90 and d95 codes since day 1. I had cleaned my vents prior to hooking up 2 years ago. I called Bob from India at support, WHAT A JOKE. Anyway the dryer is great for clothes and does not throw a code. When it comes to drying towels plan on turning off and on about 5 times before they get dry. Finally had enough and found time to mess with it. Did what’s stated in this video, no help. LG DRYER IS JUNK compared to a cheap dryer, but hey it looks prettier than the basic dryer 😡😡😡

    Did that fix your error message?
    I cleaned my duct and the dryer but I am still getting the error. I haven’t cleaned the dryer as much as you have shown in the video.

      Yes, the first time I cleaned it, it didn't clear the error and the machine still kept stopping. I cleared the ducts and the vent behind the machine. It still didn't work. It wasn't until I cleared the lint in front of the fan that the error cleared and the machine started working properly again. Make sure there's nothing blocking that fan.

      Mines doing the same thing brand new vents cleaned. Hose is short 18-24" with 2 gentle 45deg bends. Frustrating my old dryer just worked .

    Why would this be like this? Terrible lint trap design

      @@thomasjacques5286 no, they weren't magnetic themselves. A magnet would work on them though.

    How did you remove the filter housing?

    • @likethefoxirunwiththehunte1536
      @likethefoxirunwiththehunte1536  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's held on by screws. You just need a screw driver. When you put it back you line up the tabs and screw it back on. It's tricky because the screws are facing the inside where the clothes would be.

    Hmm….so the shit design is preventing the lint trap from Trapping the lint and it’s falling and clogging the flow path.
    That’s just swell…D80 codes after 3/4 loads and now getting D90/D95.
    Maybe I can get a refund on this new POS🤨

    The solution is to 1) get rid of the dryer and 2) punish LG by refusing to buy their products in the future. New house, new dryer, clear ducts and it didn't fix the D90s. LG gave us a woke dryer. POS.
