Clinical Application of Methylene Blue

  • When mitochondria are dysfunctional, they do not produce the energy the body needs for daily functions, and the oxidative stress created signals inflammatory processes that further reduce optimal health and wellness. Methylene Blue has the unique action to restore mitochondrial function, reduce oxidative burden, while promoting nitric oxide production, and improving neurotransmitter function. Recent studies have indicated MB may help with neurocognitive issues, Alzheimer's Disease, Post-Covid ailments, assist in Anti-Aging protocols, Lyme Disease, depression, oral mouth pain, and wound healing. The quality and purity of MB must be considered before adding MB to your health regimen.

    I started 10 drops 2 x daily. I feel incredibly fluey. I am exhausted. It’s amazing because it shows me how broken I must be metabolically. Realised all of the right things I have been doing aren’t quite enough. Praying that this blue stuff will kick start my flat mitochondrial battery ❤

    The video description above states: “Methylene Blue has the unique action to restore mitochondrial function, reduce oxidative burden, while *promoting nitric oxide* production, and improving neurotransmitter function.”
    However, I just watched a very detailed video where Professor Zach Murphy explains that methylene blue is a *pure vasopressor* (i.e., it raises blood pressure) that works by *inhibiting* nitric oxide synthase and *decreasing* the amount of nitric oxide produced in our body. Here's the link to the video at the appropriate time slot: th-cam.com/video/ucEYIW9oI-A/w-d-xo.html
    So, which is correct? Does methylene blue *promote* nitric oxide production? Or does it *inhibit* nitric oxide synthase and *decrease* nitric oxide production? As a side note, I’ve noticed that my systolic blood pressure elevates about 15 points after taking 5-10 mg of methylene blue.

    • @rogerscottcathey
      @rogerscottcathey 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question. It will inhibit cobalamin conjunction with Hydrocyanic Acid, a coenzyme essential to protecting proteases from SERPINs and also interfere with alveoli epithelial utilization of hypothiocyanate to prevent viral incursions. No chronic metabolic disease has ever been resolved by factors not normal to the animal economy. Methylene blue isn't going to be an exception. It's a fad and likely not going to end well. Just like colloidal silver

      MB will mess with your nitric oxide level. i used nitric oxide supplement and MB messes with it.

    • @rgmann
      @rgmann 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thomaznay9109 I've been hearing conflicting information regarding MB and nitric oxide production. I've been taking about 10 mg MB per day for the past few weeks, and so far I haven't seen any major difference in my blood pressure (e.g., systolic is about 10 points higher on some days, and then 10 points lower on others, but overall stays pretty much within the same range). So, at that moderate dosage, MB doesn't seem to inhibit my nitric oxide production too much.
      Also, I emailed Steve Hoffard, the pharmacist who gave the above presentation, and he graciously replied. He explained that according to his understanding, MB only acts as a vasopressor (i.e., by inhibiting nitric oxide production) at much higher doses usually used in emergency situations at the hospital, but that at lower oral doses (under 2 mg/kg body weight) MB actually promotes nitric oxide production. Whether that is correct or not, I have no idea - I'm still looking into it and trying to figure out where the truth lies.

      Methylene blue with small doses will build up Nitric Oxide - this is what I heard on one of the podcasts. I cannot cite which one.
      In general small dose is not only better for us but also it’s safer.
      All I know that it brought three people in my family to life after they got sick with Covid multiple times.
      Now they are better than before and so am I.
      First I started on 5-7 mg for 9 months and I saw super positive results. Then
      I had 4 IV’s of 100 mg of methylene blue and it was the best thing I could do for myself. It changed my life.
      That was a lifesaver and I feel so healthy. I added ketovore diet to this and I feel like 40 years old in a body of 60 years old. So much energy, creativity, clarity of mind, inspiration and my memory of things returned that I long have forgotten. It also lowered blood pressure so I am off medications and MB regulated glucose resistance. And I am using nano MB with red light therapy. I don’t even get colds when people around me are sick. I hope it helps. Do not be afraid to try it.

OXYGEN IS THE electron acceptor the greater the voltage in the mitochondria inner membrane the more drive you have to make ATP. Over drive makes too many elections and that’s what causes free radical. Oxidative stress

Meaning, the functions the body is assisted by on account of methelene blue, why can't the body accomplish these improvements/efficiencies/effects through natural foods instead of factory/lab derived chemistry? Why should we make ourselves reliant on chemical laboratories just to maintain a health condition in our body?

      Our "normal" diet is a mess particularly processed foods and sugars, carbs, grains permutated, environment full of toxic chemicals which kill the mitochondria; first start by eating real food organically grown, filter air and water and cleanse the lifestyle then add supplemental vitamins and minerals and what ever supports healing. MB seems to be a viable choice for many issues.

      Not necessary true. The body will excrete it over time. That is naturally how the body metabolizes the things we put into it. It can be in its reduce form within the body while it’s working in cells but become oxidized in the urine at the time of excretion based on urinary pH.
