I have been drinking it for 6 months, I only drink water and add 30 or so drops to every gallon (gallon sized water bottle). I no longer get sore from the gym, my calorie burn jumped when taking it. I have not been sick since. The water bottle required cleaning once a week before and now I never need to clean it. It has helped my elbow nerve issues significantly. I always have energy and am turning 48 in November but physically feel like I am in my twenties.

Been drinking it once a day in the morning ( 1.5ml of a 1 percent solution which is equivalent to 15mg), have felt an extremely considerable difference in my general wellbeing, feeling overall more energetic, my memory is alot clearer and finding aerobic exercise far easier than I would usually, haven't noticed any negative side effects as of yet.

I learned of MB through this video and went down the rabbit hole. I got really sick a few years ago and have dealt with symptoms (pain, brain fog, etc) since. I've tried many different supplememts to varrying effect but nothing ever took my symptoms away. I figured, what the hell do i got to lose and ordered some of this a few days ago.
Oh my god... I have never felt more profound relief in my life. Literally EVERYTHING went away within just a couple hours. This is just my anecdote, but wow has this been a god send. Thank you for putting me on to this stuff.

I normally set my alarm on snooze but didnt feel like I needed to as I was tired but somehow alert. I noticed a couple other things. Been using MB for a few months with my wife, it helps a lot in dealing with stress and ptsr. I'm using 10 drops per day deluted in water, with taurine. It starts working within 5-10 minutes. At some point I thought to substitute bulletproof coffee with MB, but ended up doing both =) Some people suggest doing MB interveinly, but I'm not apt for it yet. I've noticed that I can run like in my childhood, without any thought of getting tired at least for some time (I'm around 40yo). But you'd better be careful, sudden bursts in stamina could be tricky - I've hurt my legs, and it took me 2 weeks to recover.

I'm 60 and I started taking 2 drops in a glass of OJ in the morning a month ago and it felt like my brain fog was lifting, my memory recall for words definitely improved somewhat. I switched to taking it before I go to bed and my broken sleep has completely stopped. For the last week, I have slept right through until morning, something that hasn't happened in years. (I can usually get the odd night in without waking up once, but a whole week in a row was unheard of.) I ordered the MB skin products and have been using them for a week - yesterday I had 2 people comment on how good my skin is looking but that could be because I'm also getting proper sleep now. (I've read that when you mix it with OJ it stops staining your teeth blue. So far, so good. Note: I have been taking Vit C every day for the past 3 years, so it's not the Vit C in the OJ.)

From what I've heard from Dr. Gonzalez-Lima in a more recnt interview, the trick particularly for the senior citizen is to just see the pee till the hint of blue is gone (after starting with a very low dose, say 3 drops). For me it took two days (48 hours and the first few times after the first dose the pee was clear and the blueness appearred after half a day of the morning dose) and I shifted to just two drops with "wait till the pee clears approach". In my opinion, 30 drops could be even fatal - this is "poison at higher doses" you're dealing with.@@m4inline

Methylene Blue has had a relatively menial role in medicine up until this time. It has been used as a practical liquid dye to detect fluid movement in some situations (primarily to detect fistulae, etc.). It also is used to demonstrate communication between different anatomic spaces for surgical applications.
Methylene Blue is also used to treat clinically significant methemoglobinemia.
Prussian Blue is different, but comes to mind because at one time, I was the principal investigator for Prussian Blue (Radiogardase), an orphan drug, which is used for both Thallium and Radiocesium poisoning. It is a non-sequitur, but I reflexively think of Prussian Blue when I hear the term Methylene Blue.... :)

I was given MB last year by a pharmacist while vacationing in South America. I had a UTI and it was a Sunday morning so I couldn’t find a doctor in the small town I was visiting before I had to catch a flight back next morning. It definitely resolved the symptoms - probably faster than some antibiotics. I have taken MB very low dose orally off and on for 9 months. Generally only positive results besides the blue pee.
Given that its half life is reported to be a few hours, I have begun dosing at 2 drops (1 mg) twice a day, and I am experiencing similar positive results like better concentration, more energy, improved mood. (previously I dosed from 2 drops up to 16 drops ONCE a day)
I am however concerned about contaminants and I am taking the USP grade MB, but even at those amounts it could be cumulatively toxic.
So presently trying 1-3 drops twice a day, then taking a couple / few days off every week or two.
I am unsure of any cumulative dosage effect when taking MB X days in a row.
I am a 60 YRO male, and also use Red light therapy. (also trying to figure out the minimum effective dosage there)
So unsure about anti-aging effects, but each day is better.

Yes we should not jump to conclusions. We already have other molecules that perform the same functions that we know are safe. We have a slew of antioxidants glutathione being only one of many. We have the salvage pathway to vastly increase the recovery and reuse of NAD+ efficiently generated from NMN. We have AKG possibly the most efficient fuel for ATP. We have molecules like spermadine to protect DNA. Cyanidin and fucouidan to activate SIRT 6. Quercetin which perfoms many functions. Fisetin which when used correctly is a powerful senolytic. Many more.

@googbert Rimon on Wellness Messiah recently reported on a flawed test showing it was ineffective. Fisetin is a class of molecules called polyphenol which is what gives color to fruits and vegetables. Among its uses is as a senolytic which means it programs old worn out cells that don't function, don't reproduce and can excrete toxins damaging other cells to die. I think it comes from strawberries. It is identical to the molecule quercetin except for one additional OH group. The flaw in the test was giving the mice small doses daily. Rimon says that the proper dose is 20 mg per kg of body weight once every one to three months you want it in your system in a high enough concentration and then out. So I weigh close to 240 pounds which is 110 kg so my dose would be 2200 milligrams or 2.2 grams. That's 11 20 mg pills taken at the same time. Rimon,if you're reading this tell me if I got anything wrong. I suggest you visit his site. He'll even tell you why he disagrees with some things David Sinclair does.

7:30 When ROS interacts with fatty deposits in your skin it rusts them. Same process as what happens to a banana when it turns brown. That’s what those brown aging spots are. You are rusting. And if the rust is showing up on the outside, wait until you see the inside !

Unlike some of the antioxidants you mentioned MB is a single electron donor/acceptor. It has relatively stable semiquinone radicals. Flavins also act similarly. Benefits of MB vs flavins would depend on their redox potential, which I cannot recall offhand

We used methylene blue in radiological imaging as a substance that shows up under
infrared. Injecting it into a milk duct in the breast allows that duct to show up under IR in surgery and be removed. Is this the same methylene blue??

"it feels like this topic came to me from the depths of the internet" ...what can I say except you're welcome.
But yea, the reason Methylene Blue acts like an antidepressant completely unlike other antioxidants which are for the most part sedative is because at initial high concentrations it's actually pro-oxidative. Quite powerfully so. It'll dry out the skin around your mouth after you apply a ml to the back of your throat (common sore throat treatment). So initially it prompts the body to produce more of its own antioxidants... then becomes a net antioxidant when it eventually dilutes. It's so powerful that it used to be used as a treatment for cyanide poisoning.

To keep from staining your teeth or mouth, I put 10 drops MB in less than 1/2 c water, stir in tsp. of calcium ascorbate powder(vitamin c), 1tsp lemon juice -real lemon is fine and stir and let it sit for 5 minutes. You actually see it go completely clear before you drink it. Not a bad taste either.
