Would you like to see an Apple Prores LOG workflow video?
Yes 🔥🔥
Would it be possible to see it in Final Cut Pro on iPad??
@@jadenramos7039 sure!
Yes especially with Final Cut. I'm trying to transition to using Final Cut because I'm super interested in making Spatial Video once the Vision Pro comes out.
Mos def. I’m so new to all things photography and excited to see what my new phone will do.
astronaut, doctor, plumber, trainer, now a vlogger 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome, Thank you so much!
Good and useful video. I just got my 15 Pro Max yesterday and you showed things I haven't seen before on other channels. Thank you.
Locking the white balance, dang. Thanks for that!
Would love to see more quality step by step tutorials on using the 15 promax camera in different situations. Especially the macro feature and the zoom functions. Having the ability to do both and get good quality outcomes is pretty magical but I need more information. There’s not a lot that I can find that. it’s good quality content like this. Thank you.
Great tips! I'll be testing my cameras soon and will be applying those 😊
Some things like locking white balance aren’t new but many don’t use it and this is a great video. Thanks!
Nice. Nice. Really nice. It's useful in the extreme. A good introduction to the 15 Pro Max camera features. Mine comes tomorrow, and you helped get me read for it. Mr. Casey, I appreciate your good work.
You have NO Idea 💡 how much ❤❤❤ we need these tips , ❤❤ THANK YOU so much
Thanks for the tips! Great video!

Awesome video with fantastic tips! Thank you so much! I just bought the 15 PM so I’m excited that it can do so much! I’m surprised at how good the 10X digital zoom is! Can’t wait to try all these tips! Thanks a million!

OUTSTANDING
This is one of the most informative and best video on TH-cam thus far. "THANK YOU SIR"
Very fine video and I learned alot.
Found this very useful
Useful ✅
love the setting. Dope video!
Appreciate it!
Locking the white balance is great! Finally! I wish they’ll allow previous models to do it too
The video is very well done 👍✨
I found this channel by accident.. very good. Clear explanations. Easy to follow.
Excellent tips, as usual.
Glad you like them!
@@OT4Techdo I need to change camera settings when using 5x and 10 x zoom?

Really awesome tricks Mister Casey
Appreciate ya boss!
Great video - thanks. I have sub’d now 😀
Thank you for accurate explanation on HEIF MAX. It’s been difficult for me to take many TH-camrs who say HEIF as new format available from iPhone 15 seriously. I’d love to see more videos of using iPhone cameras for photography!
People are barely noticing that iPhone has been taking HEIF photos for many years now. So people are thinking that HEIF is new now that Apple said "HEEEF" during their keynote this year
So good video
good job Dennis
I was torn between getting the iPhone 15, or iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max. I ended up getting the Pro, and I think it was the perfect choice! A great balance of features that the Pro Max has and the base model! Love this phone!!
L ove this information 🤙🏝️
Nice tips!
Thanks bro!
This is a great explanation. Thank you! I typically use Canon A1 and professional lenses, but they are a bit bulkier than the iphone15 Pro. max
I am trying to learn to get good images when I do not have. the big cameras. Where can I find more information to capitalize on this new technology?
Thank you for sharing. How long can you record on the Samsung flash drive before it overheats?
The info identifier option is a software update and is available on my XR. It’s very useful!
10X zoom looks pretty good! Would I need to change the camera setting to 48 MP to get the best quality or not?
Great video, Jonathan!!!! I have one question. Yesterday, I was out in the woods and took some PHOTOS (not portrait mode) at 5X. There WERE NO animals, faces, whatever and yet, many of those were taken automatically in PORTRAIT MODE.
Any explanation???? Thanks!
Great post! As always! simple to the point! question: on Tc 5:27 of your post, when you go to proress encoding, when we choose "Log" by default the Iphone doe not shoot in HDR correct? in other words Log is not compatible with HDR in the Iphone... 🤔 just making sure~! thank! cheers!
🙈 Cant wait to buy it
You’ll love it
Bought the same Samsung thumb drive when I saw the 15 had USB-C. It’s pretty awesome
Are there are stutters with 4k 60 Prores LOG?
I bought it as well. For some reason it's not working with my phone? When I plug it in I still get the error "ProRes Not Supported" pop up error
@@_Will1 Reformat the drive and make sure partition is set to Apple Partition Map
Hello, my default picture is not portrait, I noticed you had an option to select / change to portrait on. I don't see that in my pics. I do see in a pic that I took with portrait on a portrait off option. Is there a setting to toggle on for this? Thank you!
Nice
Appreciate you boss!
do u recommend camera lens protector for it?
Don‘t thank apple for usbc. Thank the EU 😂
can u explain more please
@@blackandwhiteTreeeu made usb-c obligatory
Can you use the new Portrait mode, on 9:16 proportions on the new 15 pro max?
Lock white balance works on my 13 pro max too!
🔥🔥🔥
The automatic portrait mode recognition does seem to work for more than just faces, dogs and cats, although not specifically supported. It seems if the phone can lock focus on an object and recognise the depth, it will save that information for applying the effect after taking the photo even it it's not a face, dog or cat.
yup, second this. I've applied portrait post taking photos to objects such as bottles.
Not working on me , never seen in the edit the option potrait, and i have the option on on the settings

“ you can pick up one of these for about 25 bucks. You can pick up four of these for about $100.”
Very very slick math buddy !
@@ricnurcis portrait will not appear when taking MAX HEIF photos you need to take regular ones
@@taco564 ooo thanks!! Its for days that i dont get it, i shot always on raw
Any specific settings you’d recommend having turned on to take good zoom photos at a concert? I have a 15 pro max!
I don’t get how you did the normal photo into portrait photo. You had a f at the bottom if the phone in the edit mode and i have not. Please help.
Very useful thank you
How do you get the smoothest action videos?
So if you take an image with the diffrent focal length do you still get the full 48 megapixel or does it go down to 12 or 24/26
Do you know how to remove the portrait blur in the photo mode? I already went into the camera settings and turned off “portraits in photo mode” but my photos/photo mode still dose the blur of the background for items fairly close.
una pregunta, ¿solo deja grabar al pendrive en modo proRes o cualquier tipo de video, como en 4k?
I have iphone 15 pro max just a couple of days ago but I dont have that portrait option when you go on edit on regular pic. I only got the 3 options
Thank you. Definitely the best quick tutorial on the 15 pro max camera ❤️
What about for front cam. Its not that good or clear do you have any tip or tricks on this! Thanks
If I use raw or heif, do I need to do any photo conversion to jpeg to share the photos with others or online?
First video of yours I've watched. I was looking at the background thinking that it looked very familiar. Then you stood in front of the Oakland sign and I realized why it looked familiar.
I live out in Geneva, FL.
That’s awesome! Love meeting another local haha. That was my first time visiting that park. Next time I might have to do a little fishing.
@@OT4Tech Lots of cool trails out here too around the Little Big Econ and St. Johns River. We have access to one right from our house!
How do I find stabilization mode for camera?
does the zoom work just as well with the video??
I need a suggestion here. I'm thinkg to buy Max byt dangling on 3x zoom. As Pro have 3x lense but in pro max it is digital zoom.. how it will be differed? I've been checking formthis comparision and no mwhere found. Can you please clear my doubt? Thanks in advance.
i can't seem to get the info from any photo that I take. Not sure if there is a setting that I missed to enable this feature.
Cool tips. Just be aware, the auto Portrait mode does work for most things, as long as you select the focus point manually by touching the screen.
Do you know how to remove the portrait effect? I have already toggled off the “portrait in photo mode” but I still get the blur in the background of my object.
@@brendalaverde9171when turned off in foto Galerie it’s off. When your object is close to the camera there is a natural slight blur background with has nothing to do with the potraid mode.
Hello for some reason when I plug in the Ssd that you have in the video it won’t work on my phone and it’s a brand new I phone 15 max
Tks for the great tutorial. Currently, I'm on an android device and am thinking of getting the ip15 pro. However, I've noticed certain pictures taken with the 15 pro of human subjects tends to be darker than my android device. The white balance seems a little off at least, to me. Is there a particular way/settings that one could use to get brighter photos. Tks.
That’s the beauty of ProRaw. You have control of all of that after the fact.
@@AlienwareGaming yes indeed, it's a good option to have just like any other flagship that offers capturing of raw. However, I think most users would prefer a point, shoot and share moment vs a point, shoot, edit and then share moment. ✌
Thanks for the info. One thing about the Samsung SSD - it will not fit in the usb-c slot of the iphone if you have a case, so I sent it back.
It depends on the case. It works fine for most of mine and I have an adapter for the others.
Big fan i from india i watching your when its was come samsung s21 ultra very useful video sir
Thanks for watching!
For low light need to use 12mp? For dayli photo 48mp better?
in HEIF 48MP resolution does it take portraits?
Why I'm not getting automatic identification of objects on the "info" of the shots I just took? Is that feature only available in the US?
Sorry, mine is working ok now
Hey just got the new 15 pro max so when you try to take a selfie with front camera it looks good but once you take the photo and check it it looks pixelated bad quality
Locking white balance? Do you have to repeatedly go into settings to change it?
Apparently my iPhone15 pro max doesn’t use the 5x optical zoom but uses the main camera and digitally zooms the image to 5x. Any way to change it?
Have you tried to record with the Samsung? 30 MB/s writing speed seems not so fast
For people having issues getting the camera to recognize the Samsung USB-C flash drive, reformat the drive as Mac OS (Journaled) or exFAT and set the partition to Apple Partition Map.
Great info, thanks for adding
I’m not a photographer so what should i turn on between HEIF MAX & ProRaw Max
It's not just ProRes Log that can record direcrly to external drives, ProRes SDR and HDR can also do so.
Is there a way to change white balance? All of my pics have a blue undertone and I hate it! I have to edit them just to bring warmth to the photos. I did a side by side pic with my galaxy s8 and the galaxy pic looked way better!
for a sec i thought Johnny Sins changed industry 😅
A lot of these tips also apply to iPhone 14 Pro (possibly others?) after upgrading to iOS 17.
So are these cameras with internet access or are these smart phones ?
Fantastic video, thank you!
Thank you!
