@asaeampan On what server? I have never heard them called gremlin...and I am from CBT too. On NA server they were always called the gremmy, maybe a few buddies called them gremlin but never in battle or off topic chats BTW I am Heartstone.

1:49 - WTF? That whizzing by sound as that round flies over that Gremy... I've been playing since day 1 of official release and never heard that sound as a round goes over my ship, that sounded freakin badass I want that!!!
I have a bit of sympathy for the orion. If he's a new player he likely assumed that those torps were like "normal" russian torps and would have run out long before they reached him.
mehdontcare1000 as a new player I usually can’t tell if a ship is Russian by name and just start turning in with any torps.
Also tried to use torp with Kirov, didn’t end well.
AndyH 1 play long enough and you will recognize then by shape, fire arcs, the time frame of salvos, how much hang time round will have ect. You just need to take a-lot of abuse to figure it out first.

Same. I have all of the infamously OP never-sell-again premiums thanks to those containers. (Well I bought Belfast and Giulio Cesare when they were first sold. But Gremyashchy, Nikolai, and Kutuzov all came in Santa crates.)
20:11 The true reasons is BBs are easy damage for carriers, while Tier 4 CVs anti-air defenses will wipe out most Tier 4 air attacks. Even if these two friendly CVs had been smart enough to have maneuvered out of BB's gun range, they would still attack the BBs. As for those two enemy Hoshos, they were being stupid to stay by themselves when a higher tier enemy DD was on the loose. They just don't like thinking.

Got my Gremyaschy in a Christmas crate 2017 IIRC. With a 4 km plus stealth firing window, it was ridiculous. Now it’s just a very nice Tier 6 DD with Tier 5 matchmaking. The special Russian captain helps make the turret traverse perfectly workable. Concealment is 6.1 km with my build IRRC.
The gremmy is still a fun little ship, it is her rudder that makes her fun. With such slow turning guns though, you really have to think ahead and get those turrets moving ahead of time. PLUS, with her rudder you can aim by turning the ship too, fine tuning your course between salvos.
Those tier 4 carriers may only drop 1 torp at a time but when played right I can usually get around 40-50k damage per game just off the torps
I almost never use my torpedo bombers in my Langley. I rack up good damage numbers and XP focusing on rockets and bombs. Either, if they're well aimed, will deliver more damage. I only use torps against isolated BBs or CVs at the end of the match, trying to get floods on already burning targets.
Jingles, they also have been giving this DD in Christmas Boxes. Got one this past Christmas.

Teamwork happens, when you read the map, read the battle, pay attention to what's going on, focus your firepower, on one target at the time, and don't hesitate, to help out allies, to keep them in battle for as long as possible.... but of course if they want to die and get on to the next, in stead of trying to see what they can do in this current battle, meh, their choice
I got the Sims at closed Beta, have never regretted any choice more in my life than that one :(
One of the best ships in the game even now. I love mine. You can stretch main battery range to 14.3 km with Advanced Firing Training. The trick with the guns is to aim by turning the ship.
not sure if it was u but "the cutest tank in world of tanks" this just might be the ship of ships its pretty sleek and forces u to use ur guns in moderation.
Jingles, and fellow minions, I found out the other day that during ww2, planes would sometimes lay smokescreens for ships from the air - I feel like a ‘smoke plane’ would make carriers (especially those at tier 4) more useful - do you think this would work?
Philomel is using a lowbie captain without concealment expert and survivability expert and still manages to carry the team. Great job! If you play the Gremy with a special captain like Ovechkin, then you will bring the most out of this ship; decent turret traverse and a large health pool for the tier. I won my Gremy from a super container on Christmas Eve, 2 years ago and I admit my nipples got hard. If seal clubbing is wrong then I don't want to be right!

what happens to torbedoes who miss their target? Do they self-destruct, or are they drifting trough the sea until they hit something?
They run until either max range or hitting something. Which is what makes the Japanese Type 93 long lances so dangerous.
Me and my clan came up with the nickname for the Okhotnik of "The Russian Eel," although I quite like "The War Canoe" too.

I dont know about the EU server but on the American server chasing a fast moving smoke producing destroyer is a good way to get your aircraft shot down and to wait hours to get new ones loaded
As a BB player I never assume I’m out of torp range unless for a fact have visual contact on torps when launched from and do quick math. But most of the time its safer to just maneuver just in case

I don't know what happened but somewhere between the game going from CBT to OBT to Release, they switched her with a Sims and gave me an Arkansas Beta too.
I might have wargamings next April special figured out. Two teams of 10 carriers, some ai destroyers cruisers and a battleship or two on each team trying to delete each other (and respawning after a couple minutes) winning team obliterates more than half of the hostile carriers by any means, be it carrier battleship destroyer or some moron being rammed by a cruiser. Plenty of tactics available, compel the screening force to leave open a flank for cruisers or destroyers to sneak in, just fly around the cruisers to bomb exposed carriers yourself. Or defend our fleet by forcing the battleships to keep manouvering and prevent turrets from firing at your cruisers.
Orion was so fixated on the carriers that it had no idea on the torpedoes.

You could call Phil a seal clubber, but as Flasbass has shown us many times now, seals are everywhere now.....
I strongly believe that one of the best offensive strategies a T4 carrier can undertake is to get spotted. That act alone can remove the brain cells of half of the enemy team.

Omaha has 5.5 km range on its torpedoes and depending on the hull used the C hull sacrifices half of the torpedo tubes for aa guns.
My favorite ship in the game. Nice seeing some lower tiered games as usual.
It is usually a good sign when you can figure out that the enemy has a fair amount of ships on their team with three sheets to the wind.

Well, as interesting as these tank (and ship) videos may be I do much prefer all the other videos you make which are just superb. Tank and Ship battles do seem a lot the same to me (admittedly not a player of these games). I do hope you continue to make videos which you are actually playing rather than these replays of ones sent to you!

Ummmm, I recently started playing wows and would like to inform you all teamwork is actually quite common in tier three games. I am not kidding, its very easy to make plans and teammates down there.
Jingles, if you want to see this ship played well, check out Vipersocks YT channel. He has a number of Gremy videos with Krakens. Also plays in a division on Aetam's streams. He says its due to goat sacrifices to the RNG gods.
The way that New York must have felt is the way I feel when I play random battles at tier X.
Remember folks, you dont have to be good to get to tier X. All you needs is patience (or money)

Gremlin is still arguably the most op ship in the game... in last ranked season on t5 I carried myself in her to rank 1 losing only one battle. She can win a battle on her own.

Jingles, did you not know of the destroyer-phobia and destroyer-aversion the entire player base of WOWS has? Every BB player has to cuss out their team to get rid of the DD's as they're trying to peg them with their 9 mile spread, 16", 9 gun HE broadside as they try to last second. . . .hour maneuver their ocean heifers to dodge a Skill-akaze's wall of skill.
Every CC is ignoring everything going on and is looking to hunt other CC's, bully CV's, or torp BB's and have harder brown alerts than UPS when a DD shows up in the adjacent minimap grid (when they finally realize it exists) next to them.
CV's are content just cheesing others out of aircraft kills. They're the ones who throw rocks from behind their big brother and then get demolished when a bigger opposing brother juggernauts through.
DD's themselves are looking to fill the waters with as many fish as possible and freak out when they meet each other. The proof of this is that WarGaming programmed the AI DD's to Chicken Suicide Torp each other on Co-Op games.
DD's are just the undesirable, but necessary plague to WOWS. So if you're really good at it, you're sailing death. If you suck at it, you might get a decent "Ha h-" before you're blown up to WOWP altitude.
Once again, proving beyond all doubt how obscenely OP sky cancer is - and how much effect idiots driving sky cancer has on the game - and how just under that DDs are insanely OP. Exactly why sky cancer needs removal, and exactly why secondaries need massive buffing. Third, also demonstrates why fire needs a raping with the nerf bat. Had the enemy sky cancer used their fucking brains and targeted the DD, *AS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO*, this would of been an easy win.
And yes I have both the Gremlin and war canoe. They are just as OP now as ever.
