❤ Your entire video was definitely worth watching! Very glad that you are on the mend and feeling better each day. I vote for you to start O Canada on the first day of your retreat, then work on the other one if you have time. The quilt you won is beautiful, and sure to be a treasure for years to come. Lucky you!! Happy stitching, safe travels to the retreat, and stay healthy!! 😊
Carolyn: I hope you recovered quickly, it is so miserable being sick in warm weather. Love your baby helping with your video. The quilt is beautiful. Lovely progress on your stitching, the simple black frame is perfect. Santas Parade so cute, lovely choices for a year of WIP's
Hi Carolyn! I hope you are getting better and better! Beautiful Girl is beautiful! That quilt is absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to see the parade. I would start O Canada first so you can have a new start while in Canada. I enjoyed ABCingo! Thanks for hosting! Happy Stitching! 💙
💙Wonderful video, Carolyn! I so enjoy your flosstubes. I am so sorry you have been so sick. I have asthma so I totally get the feeling when you can’t get enough air. 😢 love all the plans and stitching. Your boss is going to love Beautiful Girl! It is amazing. I need to stop at the market after the parade. Happy stitching! Hugs.❤
❤!!! Always stay til the end...no matter what lolol. I'm just stitchin away! I learned it as "all day LONG you'll have good luck" I've never heard of all the day 🤷♀️ I hope u r feeling better! Despite being sick, u still got alot done this past week! I didn't participate in abcingo alltho I did follow along w what everyone else was doing, but part of my plans for 2025 are to really focus on all the fun games to help me move along all these wips I got piling up! I have startitis this year lololol. I want to participate in it ALL 😂 Luci sends her love to Jack and Simon! Happy stitching 🐈⬛🪡❤️
Oh gosh, first of all, I am glad you are feeling better. What a double whammy you had. Now, let's talk Beautiful Girl! Yay, she is BEAUTIFUL! I am sure she was well-received. I hope Stitch North is a great time. Happy stitching.❣
I hope your completely recover quickly. My son has been down for3.5 weeks with similar symptoms. Love seeing your stitching and patterns and look forward to your videos every week. Keep them coming! Market, parade
💖 Hope you continue to feel better! I did ABCingo for the first time and absolutely loved working on so many different projects. I even got a black out board. Thank you for organizing it!
I’m SO sorry you were so sick 🤢 & glad you are on the mend ❤️🩹. Congrats on winning the quilt! I have seen a pic of you on another Flosstuber’s video of you holding it up at the retreat. It’s gorgeous. My black cat 🐈⬛ Kiki was listening to Jack meowing & she was freaked right out - she thought Jack was in our house. 😂 It’s always good to see your new video - it’s part of my Sunday routine! Thanks for coming to visit every week 😊 Kim from Canada 🇨🇦 P.S “Find a penny, pick it up, all the day you’ll have good luck.” is how I learned it. I would rechart the wording to what you know it as.
Glad to see you feeling better. Keep resting when you can, it takes time to fully recover. The gift you finished for your boss is beautiful. I also loved seeing the baby sampler you are doing and glad you will be working on that again. FYI, I found a full kit of that on eBay and plan to start it before My Year of Florals (2024) is over. My version will have a favorite quote in the center space. That quilt you won at Stitching in the wild is fabulous. So many good things. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Hi Carolyn: I am glad you are on the mend. Hoping for a quick recovery. Love seeing your projects. I bought My Crazy Life Lori's planner this past year and I LOVED using it. I love the changes she made for this year and am equally excited to use it.
💖 I'm so sorry you have been so sick. Thank heaven the meds are kicking in and you are feeling better. Please remember that once you catch pneumonia, you are a wee more open to catching it again. Prayers you knock all these bugs out this week, and get back to 100%. We can't have you sick! Hugs
Hi sweet friend and handsome Simon! I am so sorry that you got so sick, talk about a double whammy! You still did a lot of beautiful stitching. Love the finished piece of Beautiful Girl. Hi Jack, about time you made an on-camera appearance, not just an audio one. 💗 You could do every floss tube this length :D Love to you and the boys! Dawn
So glad you’re on the mend and hope you’ll be feeling fit as a fiddle in no time. That first section of Summer Montage is really beautiful and you must be so happy to have finished the first block… a little progress is still progress. parade market
Hope your recovery continues and you are feeling better soon. At least the weather is cooler now, easier for some good comfort foods like soups to help the healing process! Your framed piece is lovely, black was a great choice, it makes the colors really pop. Your friend will love it! Also, I'm looking forward to seeing Autumn Montage return next month, that's my favorite! 😁☺ Parade and Market.
I am so sorry you were sick. I was very sick last week , too. There is nothing worse than being so sick and having to go in to see a doctor. Its so hard and exhausting. I am glad you are starting to feel better. I learned the cat phrase as " All day long you'll have good luck." Love, love, love your quilt . ❤❤❤ If you did the same border all the way around, maybe it would look more intentional. Your friend is going to love the framed piece you stitched for her. I pray she is doing well.😊😊😊❤
Love your finish and your progress on your wips. I hope you feel better soon. Looking forward meeting you in person at StitchNorth. Happy stitching! Parade ❤💙
I’m so excited to hear that you are going to stitch North because I am too. I’m going to run up and hug your neck. I’ve been watching you for a while but I don’t normally comment. Yay !! I can’t wait to meet you!! Glad you are on the mend.❤
Congratulations on winning the quilt! It's beautiful!!! I'm so sorry to hear you've been sick again and hope you're feeling much better now. I'm going to attempt the MMC again this month. We'll see how it goes. I did great with ABCingo, but the other monthly ones are a struggle for me for some reason. I think I don't like to tell myself what to stitch. 😊Thanks for sharing with us!!!! Happy stitching!!
Sorry to hear that you have been so sick, wishing you a speedy recovery 💖. Your health insurance company doesn't sound the best, we are lucky that we have the NHS although waiting lists are getting longer. Emergency medication etc. is brilliant!I know what you mean about being sick when you live on your own. The quilt is stunning, you lucky lady.
❤️❤️❤️ so sorry you were not well. I had pneumonia about 10 years ago and was hospitalized for 5 days! I’m pretty bad about going to the doctor so by the time I went I was really quite sick. You will feel tired for a while so listen to your body. Thanks for sharing all your WIPs. You got loads done so well done. I would work half my time on G Leger to finish the D then move to Twisted band Sampler for the remainder. I am doing the TBS but am struggling with the first specialty row - I can’t work out where to start! I will take some time and try and work it out. Thank you again and take care. Happy stitching ❤
Hugs girl.🥰 Sorry you’re not feeling great. My cat heard your voice and came running over to see if your co-host was there, she was disappointed that they left so soon. 😸
❤ I’m glad to hear you are on the mend and am looking forward to meeting you at Stitch North. I’ve lived in NC since the late 90s but grew up in Portland - actually walking distance from Acorns and Threads’ location. 😊
💜 I love to watch your videos so much because I'm a planner, too. I take so much inspiration from you! (Still catching up on your videos). I was so happy that I finally remembered the right Saturday to join chat! I hope you're getting better. Take good care of yourself. 💜 - Laura :)
So sorry you got so sick. I am so glad that you are on the mend. I think you should do the O Cananda one first. Beautiful Girl came out so lovely and I am sure your Boss is going to love it too. I love your Montage pieces. I love seeing the progress on them too. Can not wait to see your October progress as well. Feel better soon. Happy Stitching ❣
Rest well and be kind to yourself dear friend. Speedy Recovery. The parade went right past the market before Thanksgiving. I Love hearing Jack’s opinion about things. I think he is saying “Mom I was worried about you, are you getting better?”
So glad that you are feeling better, and I hope you continue to improve throughout the coming week. Thank you for mentioning what has happened in the South due to Hurricane Helene. ❤ Ick you sure did well with being extra sick. Hope you are all healthy soon. Beautiful progress on your stitching and great plans ahead. I always look forward to the planning part haha. October looks fun!
I was so sorry to hear that You were so very ill. It seems to me that RSV is on the rise in those of us who are older, it used to be primarily an issue for little ones, but it seems to have become a serious issue for those of us who are 50+ years of age. So glad you are feeling better! Still not stitching or knitting much, due to crazy but cute Kitty! So when he’s napping I have to choose, nap myself or stitch 😂 and lately it been a nap! Take care of yourself & enjoy your next retreat! 😊
Hi Carolyn, So sorry that you were so very ill. Wishing you a complete recovery. Thank you for hosting ABCingo. It was my first time participating and I thoroughly enjoyed stitching along. I was able to keep up daily; it took me until the 20th to get my first bingo, then of course I had a bingo every day until the 25th! I was able to touch a lot of my WIPs and even stitched on new starts and had two finishes so I feel like I made good progress. Looking forward to stitching the October HAYRIDE; thanks for sharing your choices. Happy stitching and speedy recovery. 😊
Hi Carolyn, yesterday when I saw your video I was shocked. I'm in the final stages of G. Leger. I didn't even notice that the border sometimes has points with 1/2 X's. It was very reassuring to know that it doesn't change the overall width, as the small squares between the rectangles are always 3 by 3. So it's not that bad! I won't frog! Loved your FT and the finish is gorgeous!
❤ You can totally stitch that Canada piece with 2 strands since you usually stitch on 32ct. I think the 3 strand recommendation is just what some people recommend on 14ct. For the blends, just use one strand of each. 👍🏻
❤ I’m so sorry to hear that you have been so ill, I hope you feel better soon. It was lovely seeing your projects and plans. I really want to participate in wip go or one of your other games nice next. Is there a video that shows how it all works? Your quilt is stunning, what a beautiful prize and I love all the colours. It’s always lovely seeing your fur baby. Have a much better week than your last one. Thank you for sharing your time love and blessings xx
If I were you I would stitch on O Canada the whole time because you were born there, but that's just me. Loved your framed piece! Also love your stitching! Enjoy your retreat.
Yikes! Such an overachiever coming down with both pneumonia and RSV at the same time 😩. Glad that you’re on the mend. Thank you for sharing the parade chart. I would love to make it for my sister-in-law. Every Thanksgiving when my kids were little, they would go to her house to watch the parade, allowing me to focus on meal prep. Take good care of yourself. ❤
So glad you are feeling better but rest so you don't relapse. I'll see you next year at Stitching in the Wild..can't wait. I loved the calendar but most calendars start on Sundays not Mondays..so didn't order one.
Hi Carolyn Sorry to hear that you was so sick. Wow. I am glad that you are starting to feel better. Love all of your WIPS - they are very pretty. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏☕️🧵🪡🧵❤️
Beautiful Girl is such a beautiful finish and what a great gift! So glad you are feeling better and we understand the need to cough, no apologies needed. I'm feeling in the market to stitch a Halloween parade! ❤️
Nice stitching, some stitching is better than none stitching. Take it easy and rest when you need to. Lung issues take longer to heal from. The fur babies are being protective and good nurses. I would start O Canada at Stitch Morth, that way you have your start, and them can focus on finishing the other project. 💜💜💜
Hope you are feeling 100% soon ❤ Love seeing your plans for October. I am working on my acrostic for October today and seeing what finishes I can have to then reward myself with a possible birthday start and a Black Sampler November start...this year is coming to a close so quickly!
You need to stop getting sick. I'm glad you're on the mend though. Take vitamin C as my parents say to me. Beautiful Girl is pretty. I like the calendar, especially the fact that there is plenty of room to right things down and not just a little square.💕💕
💗I hope you are feeling better and continue to get better. Your cats talking are adorable. They are probably worried about you! Start with O Canada. Parade in the market place for Christmas

Sorry to hear you have been sick. Hope you are feeling better each day.
Prayers for renewed strength. The festive parade made its way by the Christmas market, filling the air with music and excitement.
Hugs girl.🥰 Sorry you’re not feeling great. My cat heard your voice and came running over to see if your co-host was there, she was disappointed that they left so soon. 😸
❤ I'm getting sick too. Just starting with a sniffle and a scratchy throat, hope that it doesn't get worse than that!
❤ I’m glad to hear you are on the mend and am looking forward to meeting you at Stitch North. I’ve lived in NC since the late 90s but grew up in Portland - actually walking distance from Acorns and Threads’ location. 😊
I’m looking forward to seeing your birth sampler finished. It’s so delicate and lovely. Feel better and enjoy your stitching this week.❤

❤ so sorry to hear how sick you got!! Hope you're back to 100% pretty soon!!
So glad that you are feeling better, and I hope you continue to improve throughout the coming week. Thank you for mentioning what has happened in the South due to Hurricane Helene. I live in North Carolina, and we have had several mountain communities that have been severely impacted by flood waters, and one that has been swept away entirely. How about starting O Canada on the plane, once you are in Canadian airspace, so technically you have started it IN Canada, and you will get a good start on it and can then work on it on one of your days there. Thanks for sharing with us today even though you feel so funky! ❣
Hope you feel better soon. You have a lovely cohost. ❤
❤ Ick you sure did well with being extra sick. Hope you are all healthy soon.
Beautiful progress on your stitching and great plans ahead. I always look forward to the planning part haha. October looks fun!

That planner was an absolute thing of beauty. Obviously Ms. Lori's brain works like a well ordered parade. I wonder when the full blown Retreat Planner will be available, as that is something that I have been in the market for.
Your October plans sound wonderful. You are so ambitious and You really are very encouraging to those of us who aren't nearly as brave as You are. I don't know where You find all the time/energy to do everything that You do. I'm just not as organized as You are. But You constantly are an encouragement to become more organized.
Take care, be safe, get well soon, and as always, GOD BLESS YOU.
So glad you are feeling better! Still not stitching or knitting much, due to crazy but cute Kitty! So when he’s napping I have to choose, nap myself or stitch 😂 and lately it been a nap! Take care of yourself & enjoy your next retreat!

Take care, that's a bad combo! Glad you're better now. Beautiful finish for your friend, she'll love it. Parade.
❤ Hope you’re back to feeling better soon!
❤ I’m so sorry to hear that you have been so ill, I hope you feel better soon. It was lovely seeing your projects and plans. Hope you are right as rain soon. Lots more tea and kitty snuggles.
A nap with dreams parade or wips or market buys.😅😂
I hope you feel better rapidly! I would do OCanada first at Stitch North. Needle work market is my fave! Great job on Beautiful Girl! Take care!❤

You sure have had your fair share of sickness recently! Hope you continue to feel better. ❤💓
Hope you are feeling 100% soon ❤ Love seeing your plans for October. I am working on my acrostic for October today and seeing what finishes I can have to then reward myself with a possible birthday start and a Black Sampler November start...this year is coming to a close so quickly!
Hi Carolyn!! I really enjoy your videos. I love how you are so down to earth! I hope to meet you someday!! Parade, Market
❤ I hope you're feeling better..
You need to stop getting sick. I'm glad you're on the mend though. Take vitamin C as my parents say to me. Beautiful Girl is pretty. I like the calendar, especially the fact that there is plenty of room to right things down and not just a little square.💕💕
❤ Get well soon!
💗I hope you are feeling better and continue to get better. Your cats talking are adorable. They are probably worried about you!
Start with O Canada. Parade in the market place for Christmas
Hope you get to feeling better soon.
