You do such gorgeous work. I can tell you enjoy your craft. Congratulations on being asked to grace the cover of the box; you are obviously known for your precision handiwork.
Congratulations on getting to work with Alice Caroline. I must say I am not surprised you were asked to do the samples for the pictures since your work is incredible.
I'm just scrolling through Alice Carolines website, thinking about joining this BOM. It looks so beautiful although I'm not really a 'flowery' person. And I do not know, if I will love Liberty fabric like you do. I have heard it is thinner than usual patchwork fabrics? This fabric is not available in my area, so I cannot touch it.
Oh my goodness! I almost fell over when I got to around 15min in and realized you are HAND stitching your piecework! No wonder you are able to achieve such crisp alignment, one reason I never took to machine quilting. I am in awe & appreciation of your craft!
Wow,Rachel, well done, Alice Caroline. You have picked a very talented lady who has come on in leaps and bounds. It's wonderful to watch, and I can only hope once I have my sewing area sorted that I, too, can look forward to making projects look equally as good. ❤🎉😊
Congratulations Rachel on the honor of being ask to participate in this gorgeous quilt for Alice Caroline! Your hand work is so well done and very consistent which makes this a wonderful opportunity to show the Liberty quilting world your talent. So very happy for you! (Thanks for holding the fabrics and each block up for a few moments so we can really see the contrast and shape of the blocks).
Congratulations, your work is beautiful! I just signed up today and I’m so excited. My first EPP block of the month and first Liberty. Thank you for such a lovely channel to follow ❤
Breathtaking blocks. The fabrics are beautiful. Do you think a person that has never paper piece could make this quilt? Just so beautiful. You do great work.
Rachel how exciting to have the opportunity to represent Liberty on a BOM box. I too have signed up for this BOM. So looking forward to it. Hopefully they will arrive in piece to Australia. I see in the background you have the Lori Holt flag house minus the flag. I have also started the my home town house blocks. At this stage I have just just everything out. I think for my flag house I pop and Aussie flag in place. Your video about the home town blocks spurred me on to make a start, so thankyou for the inspiration. Awesome video this week especially with Liberty. Look forward to the next one :)
Hey Rachel nice work! I have on my screen the order for the BOM but I also wanted the acrylic cutting templates...can't seem to find a designated set...could you put a big in their ear cause I don't know which sizes to order?
How wonderful you’ve started the sample quilt, I’ve signed up to do it too this morning, and it was wonderful to see the size of the blocks. Looking forward to more updates, and thanks for the heads up on the magnets too
Absolutely fabulous Rachel! I also love Liberty fabrics & Alice Caroline - she’s brilliant! I’ve just finished Betty’s Bouquet & started Alice’s Country Diary, but can’t wait to get this one!! Happy sewing!
Félicitations ma belle & bravo @alicecarolinefabrics for chosing Rachel who is a skilled & creative sewist as well as being a talented youtuber. I'm not surprised at all that you have been picked to participate in the construction of this bom quilt & I can't wait to see the finished photos of your input. You are killing it ! Hugs xxxxxx
I love those wallets. I bought the A3, A4, and A5 to sort and group some WIPs (I have about a dozen and they were so chaotic cut pieces, partly sewn units, complete blocks I was just so muddled. It took me a while to sort them out but now it’s so much easier to grab pieces and chain piece on the machine, or grab a set of EPP to hand sew.
You did such a beautiful job. You always make the most beautiful quilts, the colors are awesome. Simple love the colors and fabric. You sewing is always so neat and accurate. Congratulations on being selected to do the Alice Caroline. That is a great accomplishment.❤😊
Ah wow they looked pretty . I like the look of the one by your side , it looks like I have just completed . Which is very large I thought it was 7x7 ft , however it was 9x9 . It was inky when it went for quilting I realised my cm conversation was rubbish . Hehe back to school . Mind you that’s what happens when your an old lady 😀😀 mine is all in liberty as well . Well maybe about 20 hexies that aren’t
Hi Rachel, this is beautiful. Well done for being chosen to collaborate with Alice, your stitching is gorgeous. I’ve been following you for a while now and love your channel. I went straight over, from your link and signed up for the BOM ❤😅 couldn’t resist, am so looking forward to January now 🎉 thank you
WOW Rachel, this is such an honor for you to be chosen! Congratulations!! Your blocks are one prettier than the next, & all so neat & tidy! So happy for you!!👏👏👏👏👏
Liberty fabrics are so very beautiful, my favourite block was your blue version.your needle work is worthy of using these fabrics. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊
Congratulations for being recognized for your exquisite work! These blocks are so beautiful; they look like the pictures you see thtough a kaleidoscope. I've never worked with Liberty fabric, so I just might sign up for the Alice Caroline BOM.
What an honour, well deserved Rachel. I signed up for it this morning, and I am really looking forward to it. I love Liberty fabric ❤ It was nice to see some of the blocks ahead of time, I was wondering how big they are, and now I know! I'm glad I'm not alone with not getting on with the aurifil thread. I shall use my usual Gutermann extra fine. See you next time
Rachel, "Congratulations" what a lovely thing that you have been asked to do. All of the blocks are so beautiful, and you look so peaceful sewing one of the blocks. I don't know if I will be able to get one of the kits here in Australia, I will keep a lookout for it.
Oh Rachel the fabrics are beautiful. I love them all. Never had any Liberty fabric before but would love to get some. I just love how organized you are with your projects. Makes life so much better when things are easy to get to. Congrats on being on the cover. You deserve it and much more. Your quilt is going to be so pretty. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Hugs 💕🧵🌸
I’ve played around with some EPP hexies and have enjoyed it SO much that I’ve decided to commit to this quilt and this video is such a bonus! I hope we continue to see content about this project!
Such a beautiful project! I myself have never used Liberty fabrics but love seeing them! What a cool opportunity to be asked to make this project!!! I too am a avid EPPer. I always have a EPP project going. Looking forward to watching your progress. Do you have tips for removing the papers after your done stitching? I also glue baste but hate removing the papers due to messing up the fabrics.
I usually take a thin crochet hook (1mm or less) around the edge of fabric and then loosen the glue in the middle, saves pulling at the fabric with your fingers and potentially fraying the fabric. A large blunt needle also works, the type you'd use for weaving in your ends in knitting 💖
Congratulations Rachel. I am sure Alice Caroline knew what we all do. How good you are at patchwork, especially EPP. The fabrics are so pretty and the finished blocks just beautiful. Enjoy the journey with this lovely quilt. xx
oh my hat I'm so chuffed for you - your work is going to be on a box!!!!!! I love your work and I hope you enjoy this validation of your passion and dedication to quilting! GO GIRL these blocks are really beautiful
this is going to be an unbelievable quilt x there are such a lot of beautiful materials and the blocks you have done so far look exquisite. Thank you for sharing with us and congratulations on your work being on the cover of the box Rachel X
Those are beautiful fabrics and blocks. I was laid off in October this year, if I get a new job this will be my reward. Otherwise, I just can’t justify the cost. But it’s lovely! Fingers crossed!
I am sitting here enjoying your excitement and get that wonderful feeling. You have inspired me to get back to EPP after 20 years of using machine stitching. Every new quilt started with gorgeous fabric that speaks to the quilter is a thrill .

@sabineviehweger3340 it is thinner but I'd describe it as "fine" not thin. It is a strong fabric and feels like silk
@@stitchwithrachel Thank you. I will think about it.
The colors and prints are charming! Almost as charming as your video.
Congratulations Rachel. Well deserved. Love the blue block but they are all gorgeous.
Oh my goodness! I almost fell over when I got to around 15min in and realized you are HAND stitching your piecework! No wonder you are able to achieve such crisp alignment, one reason I never took to machine quilting. I am in awe & appreciation of your craft!
