Just saw 311 last week. They played this tune. I was immediately transported back to the 70s. Absolutely blew my mind hearing it live. I could totally see Tito, Jermain and Randy from The Jackson 5 doing choreographed dances while playing behind Nick Hexum. Nothing better than some good herb and live 311....

This sounds super organic to their personality as a band. You can just tell they were jamming and having a good time and turned it into a song. That makes me super happy. I hope they play this song live on the summer tour because I think it would be a treat to hear and see them play live. I love it.

It reminds me of a super fun, sunny day in the front seat of all of my most favorite roller-coasters! and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and Coke Slushees and every 311 album and the Penguins winning the Stanley Cup and camping and drinking Jagermeister, and all the 311 shows and riding the Scrambler at Hersheypark (and more roller-coasters) and yeah, campfires, roasting marshmallows, going to the drive-in movies for an all-nighter, and staying up all night to listen to 311 and hanging out with all of the most raddest people ever

There's nothing on uplifter as good as this. I don't get why fans are complainin so much with this album. dtom/uplifter was def the lowest point for this band. the 2010s was them slowly finding their way again from UP onward. Mosaic is where they truly honed a "modern 311" formula that works and I think this new album is gonna be an extension of that but more solid with less songs and just more fun. Crossfire is aight but the other 3 so far have tons of replay value.
i should also add, mosaic was the first 311 in awhile that was produced right. these new songs are some next level 311 production. i liked universal pulse and stereolithic but production was super beat on those.
