Just a suggestion - instead of rolling the paper on a toothpick, use a big eyed wool tapestry needle Feed the paper through the eye and you have more control over the curl of the paper. I started quilling with one and although I eventually bought a quilling tool, I still love my needle and easier to find! Just an idea!!
Good morning nina, who says cats do not love their people, louis seems to be very glad that sam is home, it sounds like a true reunion..Loved the tassels you made and such a good reminder how to make them,I will have a go at it soon, since I rounded up making my christmascards and this is a nice little project on a gloomy day. Loved the blue one. I am now going to have my second coffee and today writing christmascards is on the menu. A nice peaceful sunday, but for lots of people it is going to be a nervous day, is max verstappen able to become the first dutchman ever to be a worldchampion at racing , we will see....hugs and kisses lenaxxx

Hi Nina! I just adore tassels! I made angels with paper tassels a few years ago and everyone loved them. Just large pearl for the head, a chiffon bow for the wings and I made halos with beads and wire. I live the first one you made with the dangling bead trim and the blue one. But all of these are stunning. Merry Christmas

They are beautiful as ornaments or even to add to gifts tags or cards not mailed of course but just to add that pizazz! Love them. These are lovely! If you use a piece of low tack tape as a header when you cut it will act as an easy to see scissor stop. No lines, no measuring! Remove the tape and add it to the next strip, etc.
Lovely tassels I love them and as I have tons of beads and trims I will be making them. You could also curl the tips of the tassle to make them look fuller.

I love these! I have so many beads and pretty trims, not to mention 6x6 inch paper pads I have no idea what to do with. My daughter has been in her own home now for just over a year and is building up a Christmas tree decoration collection. She asked if I could gift some to her this Christmas as stocking fillers. I was actually horrified to see the cost of decorations this year! My daughter and her partner love everything Moroccan and I have some gorgeous Moroccan style papers which will be perfect! Thank you so much for this lovely idea.

It’s scrapbooking paper that has a bit of a satin sheen by Flonz. Any heavier weight (250 gsm) scrapbooking paper will work for these though. Happy Creating ❤️🎄
