Such fun!! But I'll leave these to your other viewers. Our cats also think these are fun, for all of the wrong reasons.😏 They like anything thready, and one, in particular, loves to chew them to a fault. Due to a sewing thread cat-astrophy one Thanksgiving week, we have had to keep all such items clear away from them. Let's just say, the vet saved all the rest of Calvin's 9 lives, and, we'd just like to keep him around for awhile longer. Hobbes didn't get into trouble, we're just trying to avoid it. They are just so very tempting.
But, your creations are beautiful. 😊

    Thank you so much.
I'm struggling with sizes of lobster clips and the size rings you use.
There are so many options in sizes out there that I became overwhelmed.
    Could you please advise me?
I'm very, very new at this.
    Thank you so much! 🙂

Hi, I just made a "temporary" ribbon and string tassel; have not added beads to it yet, but I wanted to THANK YOU so much for this video about how to attach tassals to a mini journal/album! I have been searching for so long for a video that explains that. Also, I tried the Tim Holtz brad and one of the flaps broke off; seemed cheaply made and also was too tiny, Found larger brad similar to Holtz brad, but may be too large; haven't tried yet. Also, I had no idea about the bulldog clips!!

This was so much fun and so informative. I learned several new and innovative ways of attaching a tassel. I especially like the picture frame one. I have never seen it used before. I love going through collections of beads and trinkets to find just the right one to use.
Just FYI, in my area of the US, the rings that open with a little hinge are called binder rings, loose leaf binder rings, or book rings. The ones that do not open and you have to slide whatever you are attaching between the 2 parts are generally used for key rings and are called split key rings. You demonstrated the jump rings very well. Twisting them apart is tricky for me, but you had no problem at all.
The names of these really don’t matter because we all know what you are talking about, but just in case someone is looking for them it might be helpful.

Love these ideas of how to attach tassels!! Especially, using the fan method....Perfect as a bookmark! I'm doing book dangles on my recipe books. Using head and eye pins with jump rings. They are mostly beads and charms that pertain to the theme for each book. The themes I used for each.... cats, dogs, nature, teenage girlie things, and a vintage one. They have an eyelet at very top left corner of the front cover. Since my books were created using envelopes, my spine is soft. It has fabric with Mod Podge, but I felt it worked a little better on the cover. I used bulb pins to attach them. I'm thinking I need to get some picture hangers, as I LOVE that method, too! Thanks for always inspiring me! Please keep your wonderful tutorials coming! Sorry for the extra long comment...Lol... Hugs n Luv 💟 Suzy x
