Kyle Rittenhouse Accused of Violating Bond Hearing

  • The defense for Illinois murder defendant Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Kenosha County, Wisconsin on Thursday. Court is set to being at 11:30 a.m. ET. / 10:30 a.m. CT.
As on video, the defendant opened fire with a rifle during a confrontation, which happened amid protests over the police shooting of local man Jacob Blake. Anthony Huber, 26, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, were killed.
Law&Crime is naming Rittenhouse because he is being charged as an adult, and has spoken publicly about the case. He maintains he was just acting in self-defense.
“I feel I had to protect myself,” he told The Washington Post. “I would have died that night if I didn’t.”
Rittenhouse, an Illinois resident, said he was in the area working as a lifeguard. Armed people-often, if not always, conservatives and “militia”-went to Kenosha ostensibly to protect local property to against rioting and looting.
Critics tend to maintain that they and Rittenhouse were just “looking for trouble.” Nonetheless, Rittenhouse’s case became a cause célèbre for right-wingers, who raised money for his defense. They raised enough for him to meet his $2 million bail.
The defendant is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, and possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under the age of 18.

I see where Anthony Huber got his training on how to be a loser, at 47:02 his dad flips off the judge after just being explained why the judge cannot and will not violate the law to increase the bail or draft a warrant. He has no respect for the judge and his little display could have landed him a charge of contempt if he were in the actual courtroom. Total trash move by a man who went onto a zoom meeting trying to make requests to further punish the 17 year old kid his son attacked with a deadly weapon.

If the defender has to see if they actually attack or not the amount of successful self defense cases are going to drop down to a very small percent. If some one hold you up with a gun most likely there not going to shoot you but you can shoot them under the law. I agree we do not know what they where going to do. I also know that his deceased son served three years in prison for strangling his brother. Holding his brother hostage with a knife to his stomach demanding he clean. Anthony also assaulted his grandmother during the same assault on his younger brother. Clearly from the actions of Anthony’s father here in this video he cannot control himself… The apple certainly fell directly under that tree…
