      This prosecutor is overstepping his boundaries to the third degree. At this point, he needs to be disbarred, jailed, and fined for his actions. Afterwards, Rittenhouse should file a lawsuit against the Prosecution, the legacy media, and the Brandon administration, for defamation of character! This trial is nothing short of a joke!

    This is so illegal what the state has done here. It should be declared a mistrial with prejudice immediately. Withholding basic evidence clearly violates the defendants right to full discovery. If this was anyone else this would all be over.

Going out in the middle of a riot with a rifle in America is simply asking for trouble. We can’t assume that we can count on him to make the right call, deescalate, and not accidentally shoot an innocent person in the face. Everyone that attacked him were also stupid. He had the right to protect himself and his own property but as far as I know it’s not legal to protect others with deadly force so I think the defense is trying to make it seem like that wasn’t the case. If he was at a friends or someone needed assistance I’m pretty sure that’s the exception. I think the fact he had to kill two people kind of proves this was dumb

      You're right it wasn't his responsibility to be there And yes , I see you're point as to making a bad situation worse. I'm sure there's millions of people that wouldn't have been there , yet , he was. He was there doing what the millions of people sitting at home should have done. I call that integrity, doing what's right even when no one it looking.
      Would it have made a difference if he went unarmed?? Yeah, Kyle would've been killed. Gun or no gun he went to help anyone he could.
      Personally I feel he showed remarkable resolve & control. He didn't just spray bullets , shot only the ones pursuing him to either kill him or to grave harm...

    I hate to say it but it seems like there are two very basic strategies:
    PROSECTION: get a mistrial called (and then filing to retry the case with different prosecution staff)
    DEFENSE: get a mistrial called with prejudice (meaning the case cannot be tried again).

    Binger needs to be brought up on weapons charges for what he did with the AR. That was criminal. You cannot point a weapon at anyone and that though process is part of his argument against Kyle when Kyle pointed that same rifle at Rosenbaum.

      They used a Dropbox to send it on Friday, the lower quality video was already showen and the defense said Kyle pointing his gun was the Duramax turn mirror.

      Whether it’s appropriate to cross state lines with an AR-15 to defend other strangers property resulting in the death of two people…. no I would not support it and condemn them as well.
      I don’t believe the initial shooting was warranted and everything after was a result of shooting a man 4 times. By standers have no knowledge of what happened prior other than him shooting someone.

We DO NOT want a mistrial OR a mistrial with prejudice. We want the jury to be allowed to do their job and hopefully they do their job correctly and Kyle receives a full legal acquittal.

    This is an open and shut case of self-defense. If the jury doesn't return a verdict of not guilty on ALL counts, then we have moved into a period in our country where there is no such thing as justice and people will have no choice but to take the law and their own protection into their own hands.

    The entire prosecution team should lose their law licenses for clearly using political slant in their positions. I haven't watched all of the trial but have witnessed 2 speaking States attorneys acts of treasonous/unconstitutional accusations against the defendant In fact, one of the charges deprives the defendant of his right to protect himself. The judge should have thrown the 2 idiots out and forbidden them to enter his court again; unless they were the accused.

The issue was a compressed file had diffrent levels of quality between the defense and prosecutors and no one knew until the day prior to trial... the title is framed for the algorithm and designed for sensationalism

    The video evidence should be seen in real time. Binger showing slow motion and freeze frame video makes it seem like Kyle had a couple weeks to react. In reality he had precious few seconds in a life or death situation to react.

    This is a good move by the defense. The jury has been out WAAAAAY to long to feel comfortable with an acquittal. Imho they were gonna hold this card in case of a quick conviction as it would play great in appeal court or wait until we got to this point in deliberating to make the play for a mistrial, hopefully with prejudice.
    Now from and America citizen standpoint.... a mistrial, even with prejudice, is not enough to feel comfortable in the 2nd ammendment and right to self defense. Not guilty please

      It's these kinds of details I think the public learns from when the case it televised. Because the media had a field day with the judge not labeling the rioters as victims.     Kyle is fortunate to have a judge that was dedicated to a fair trial and not trying to pander to a political agenda. The judge recognized and called out the efforts to discredit him and the process. There was a lot of pressure on the judge and he resisted it. Same way now with the Supreme Court. And because he was armed with a deadly weapon he thought he could intimidate people so he went around playing the Vigilante trying to protect other people's property. The Engage The Mob and then they chase them and now he's claiming self-defense he started it. He might be a serial killer he's 18 and handling a gun and now he's claiming self-defense.       Context matters. In this case, the prosecutor was making a prosecutorial point, and while some in the jury may in fact have felt "threatened", I don't think any trial would come to the conclusion that the juror had reason to actually feel threatened given the context of the courtroom and it being part of closing arguments. Of course this obviates the point, how did the juror even have a gun in the courtroom to begin with?

    Criminal conduct by the prosecution. Kyle must be acquitted at this point, regardless of where the jury is in deliberations, and a mistrial to follow suit. Do the right thing, Judge. This should have been dismissed with prejudice a long time ago.

    This judge is starting to worry me. Im starting to get the feeling that he is too worried about how he will be viewed in the court of public opinion and its starting to effect his decision making. He is letting the Prosecutors jump through loop hole after loop hole to win their case. He should have already ended this trial with a mistrial, but he wants it to keep going so he can keep talking about himself on TV.
    Wouldnt doubt if he's angling for a TV judge show.
