very nice but i only need to change the back cover shell not the display maybe i can just switch the cover with out changing the old screen display ..

I want to use an e6320 with an external vga monitor, and be able to leave off the internal monitor completely. I tried this with a n4110 and it would not boot without the monitor. Would you know if the e6320 or maybe the e6420 will work without the internal monitor? Thanks.
It does work just fine without the monitor.
I replaced this screen for a customer earlier and when booting up the computer, it was red. I told them it was an issue with the lcd itself and he needs to send it back. I just wanted to make sure I was right. I also double checked if I plugged it in correctly and I did. Was the LCD faulty?
the best way to know is to connect one more lcd, if it also will be red so problem is in the lcd cable or motherboard (problem of lcd cable connection I don't suspect because as you said you check it), and yes it can be problem with lcd
