Second time watching this video. Thank you for taking care of this lady. My little sister died from breast cancer. It was terrible. I wish I had lived close to her. Mom and I did go at Christmas and the family took Christmas dinner to the hospital and we all ate around her bed in her room. We made the mistake of then taking down her Christmas decorations and tree and cleaning the house top to bottom. She was very distressed because we took away her Christmas things and put them away. We thought we were doing her a favor. We were so wrong. She wanted to enjoy them when she came home. That was her last Christmas. It haunts me to this day. Im so sorry Holly.

Nice job! After watching a few of these cleanup videos, I have a better understanding of how a patio SHOULD be constructed and planned for proper drainage with keeping the future in mind... land moves, grass grows, plants invade, and if you build it such that it ends up below the rest of your lot's natural topography, your patio will always be a muddy run off mess. Build a raised deck instead!

Interesting difference with two tires on the wheelbarrow, would guess it is more stable. Good idea on the dumpster. Some items have worn out over time. @@dothatch5147 I was born in '46. Parents were the same growing up. I didn't even know mowers had engines. My uncle had one and he wouldn't let me use it. Probably better that way.

Trimmed the front hedges and cleared the weeds from the front bed of my parents home this afternoon. (Was thinking of your channel of course)
It’s strenuous cutting the hedges while balancing on the latter. I’m feeling it in my arms and lower back but the work feels so good, especially when you see the final results. 👍😊
Ok, time to enjoy seeing you change chaos and create wonderful! 😎👍💜

My yard is higher than the patio cement. Every time it rained the dirt from the yard washed down on to the patio. I'd wash the patio down, and the dirty water would sit in one corner. I gave up, and edged a small trench around the patio, filled it with some pearock. Now the rain washes the patio for me! Great job on that patio, and thank the Lord for all those wonderful tools to do the job. I'm old enough to have used a push mower when it was fashionable. We've become spoiled over time, and I m loving it!

Instead of putting money into equipment, we hired a lawn service. They could not bring our grass back to life (too many cedar and for trees). So we followed their advice; we dug up the grass and put in more large plants and put down bark dust. .

The grass/grade is higher than the top of concrete at it’s low point. A swale needs to be installed 2’-0” wide min. separating the concrete / grass grade difference. The swale can be filled with gravel & sloped to drain away from the patio. Currently the patio can not drain properly thus the dirt & mildew from the backed up water. The patio & grade where never coordinated. Typical residential construction!!!

When this house was built the lawn and the patio were probably at the same level. But years and years of grass cuttings being left and having turned into soil has lifted the lawns level. I would plan for a new lawn if I had the money.

I worry about her dryer vent. If its stuck open it means it hasn't been looked at in a while and dirty dryer vents are one of the top reasons for house fires. I would sleep better at night if you cleaned it for her. Also a PSA for the world, check your dryer vents and pull out the lint!

If I may? Next time cut edge down more and for puddling water use the blower to move it instead of adding more water with the sprayer! Thank you for being an awesome human being!

I just discovered some of your older videos the other day. I needed to check out what millions of people were so entranced by, watching for hours and hours.
I don't understand why I can watch episode after episode and still want to see what you tackle next!
Maybe it's the way you create order out of such chaos, or perhaps it's because of the kindness and generosity of spirit you share.
Either way, I've subscribed and I'm in for the "lawn" haul. Haha!

Just love how much nicer and cleaner this patio was after you went through all that back breaking work just to clear it off before even edging or power washing occurred?! But wow what an incredible transformation?! It looks AWESOME!!! Well done Sir!!! Well done!!! Thank you for sharing another EXCELLENT video! And God bless you and your family!! ❤️👍☺️
