My crazy grandma used to make me sit and binge watch Seagal movies. I had to listen to her go on and on about how he was the most talented actor out there. She babysat me most days while my mom worked and the only things she allowed on her TV were Seagal, soap operas & Kung Fu. I absolutely hated going over there. Steven Seagal is so damn annoying & can’t act his way out of a paper bag.
I am no fan of Seagal but I have to say I was on a film set with Brian Cox had to drive him about and he didn’t come across a very nice guy very abrupt, which is a pity as he is no doubt a good actor, being civil to people you are working with isn’t that difficult no matter how important you think you are.

Michael Cain was like that too, he used to get panned because of it until he did an acting seminar, he told a bunch of young actors to do any job they could get their hands on or never expect to be able to buy a home or have kids, acting is a job and you better not forget it.

Brian Cox is a successful actor it's true. He has a talent that is now recognised all over the world. You really don't need to listen to his personal views however. The only actor who said anything nice about Steven Seagal was Sean Connery. Connery trained with him on Never Say Never again and during the fight training Seagal broke Connery's wrist. Connery didn't realize it till years later but didnt hold it against him

I would have to say that I know and recognize Brian Cox best as Samara's stepfather in The Ring, only because I've watched that movie countless times. But looking at his film credits, I have probably seen a dozen or so films that he has been in. I'm just a little surprised that I am just now learning, or bothering to learn, his name. A grumpy old actor by all accounts, it would seem. It's hardly a revelation that he dislikes Steven Seagal. Does anyone like Steven Seagal?
