Thank You! Volume is what i needed for my SUB calculation...
I really hope FreeCAD reaches rc stage befor i die of old age.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Just letting you know that this saved a lot of time gathering information for my thesis. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot! this is what I needed; sometimes I did it in the command line, but I always have to remember what is the command to get it done. This is definitively far better

Thanks for doing these videos. I haven't been keeping up with watching them, but I plan to in the near future. It is really great to see you do such a thorough job of educating people on how to utilize a freely available open source tool.

Thank you so much! This is so useful. FreeCAD has so much good stuff buried under the add-on manager. Which is great because you can customize to your use case. But it's bad because there's so much that I think it can't do but as it turns out I just don't know where to look. Like in this case googling for volume and mass info told me to run python scripts or manually compute it from survey data when all I really needed was right there.

how do you show the center of mass as a point or an axis on the model?

Hi Joko, I looked in the the 0.19 version of FreeCAD but FCInfo isn't listed in the addons manager. Is it because of QT5 python? Is there an alternative? Thank you for all you do.

Many thanks for the video. Would it be possible to do this for an object composed of sub-objects of various densities?

Interesting but I am having problems. I am using FreeCAD 0.19. Are their compatibility problems with this FCinfo macro?
For example I get the following error which at my beginner level of understanding means nothing:
07:13:14 Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:/Users/Public/Documents/FreeCAD/Macros/IanJobson/freecad/FCInfo.FCMacro", line 8323, in addSelection
    ui.lineEdit_5.setStyleSheet(u"color : QPalette.Base;") # origin system
: 'str' object has no attribute 'lineEdit_5'

Do you know if this can be used on a whole assembly?

Thank you for the excellent video. I am trying to find the Moment of Inertia of a Surface. FreeCad seems to give the Mass Moment of Inertia of the volume, not the surface. Can you please show the trick for finding the Moment of Inertia of a surface? It would be greatly appreciated.

This feature should be installed by default in FC.

Joko how would you export that data found in the macro to python? In other words, how can I pull that data from FreeCAD into python? I want to use the surface area to calculate paint price.

That is something I'm not sure of; perhaps freecadweb.org forum could help
