The Separatists did have some legitimate points, but all of it was undermined by the fact that they were led by a Sith Lord, a serial murderer of Jedi and greedy corporate interests.
Indeed. It was good cause that was hijacked by too many bad actors that undermined the good it could have been. Were it not for Sith control, the Separatists would have been in the right.
I wouldn’t really put Grievous in there- I mean he was a pawn too that was spurred on to lead the war effort. But he didn’t know of any ulterior motives- he knew of Sidious and stuff but it wasn’t like he KNEW that he wasn’t supposed to win.

The enemy is greed and the Sith
thank you so much i was one of the people who requested this
It is sad that Both The Republic and the Separatists were Pawns in the war, A War that both sides were weakened and so occupied that the Empire snuck up and rose to power and dealt with an enemy who was playing chess rather the both factions were playing checkers, beautiful way to put the Separatists and the rebellion having a common goal, both rebelled because of curruption and hypocrisy
I mean kinda. However the Republic became the Empire. While it’s true both sides were pawns, the Republic did technically win the war.

Not really, the war didn’t come to an end immediately. In canon it continued until the 6th month of 16 BBY. When the last major separatist holdout fell. By then the Republic became the Empire- so the Empire finished the war in the Republic’s place. So technically the Republic didn’t win- it was the Empire that won.
I never realised how similar Dooku and Luthen are.
I have literal chills anytime I watch your content ! Keep up the great work
It’s so sad that Disney Star Wars has just devolved into whatever it is now. I haven’t been interested in Star Wars content in years. This was well done. Thank you.
The CIS is the best faction in Star Wars.
I hold out hope one day we will get a show about separatists becoming rebels. Some old quarren (or really any of the classic alien seps) running around with an e-5c with old battledroids is just a badass vibe. Slap a rebel symbol on that B2 and revel in the freedom
I am so ready for this
By the time things are so bad that war is the only option...... be prepared to lose millions, perhaps billions of lives.
Don't allowed those in power to abuse the system and people.
Keep power away from those who desperately want it.
Thanks for your videos!
One of the biggest issues I have with the prequel era is that the Separatists are either vilified or lionized without trying to cover them in depth; hopefully this changes in future media.
THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL BRO, THESE TYPES OF TRIBUTES ALWAYS MAKE ME EMOTIONAL
The Plagueis quotes were too good :)
I love how VERY Similar the Seperatist Alliance was to the Rebels. And I believe any remaining Seperatists would've gladly joined the Rebels against the Empire...
They will split from the New Republic after tho
New Separatist Union rises
@@nickalex4235 Or maybe it'll be called: The New Confederacy of Systems. I would love if the sequels had more than just two factions... Maybe they could be 4, and they could be the New Republic, the Outer Rim Union (controlled by the Hutt's), the Imperial Remnants, and the new Confederacy of Systems...
@@nicholasdelaney1407 on a side note im pretty sure alot of Planets would love the New CIS because to them the CIS was right all along
Would make sense if alot of systems hate the Republic now
This was such an incredible montage about the rise, fall, and rebirth of the Separatist Alliance.
Bro this is actually Epic!
OMFG YES! 😂🎉❤ Thx for granting my wish! (by making this AMV)
All hail the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Independence for All.
7:00 I’m still glad we’re “Independent Thinkers”
7:42 “To a new Hope.”
They're the most interesting faction in Star Wars to me honestly
OH, MY, GOD. This is probably the most amazing video on TH-cam!
This is AMAZING! The parallels are ridiculous -- it's a neat thing to watch a vid like this and not just appreciate some top-notch editing, but to also LEARN some new things!
Thank you!
(also... Dooku. He's a fave of mine and so many others and you're only cementing that for a lot of us)
Dookus ideals never died
This was an Awesome Masterpiece for The Serparists Alliance.
I('ve been) looking forward to this...
Same here!!!
One of the best edits I’ve ever seen, it has brought me to tears. You have earned a subscriber and a like.
Blud just dropped the HARDEST Star Wars edit and thought we wouldn’t notice 👀
I’ve been a separatist believer since I was a kid, this kind of shit makes me weep tears of joy 😭
Amazing, amazing work, 11/10 👍
The Separatists did have some legitimate points, but all of it was undermined by the fact that they were led by a Sith Lord, a serial murderer of Jedi and greedy corporate interests.
If you try to watch this video you can understand the intentions of the Separatists: they wanted to fight against a corrupt Republic that eventually turned into something worse. Good work ❤
This whole edit deserved more views.
The Separatist is personally an underated concept but played by both sides of greed snd foul play abuse.
Dayuum what was this!? Gave me chills. Amazing edit! Amazing work!
It’s times like this where I remember why I love this setting
Absolutely breathtaking! I'm so inspired to make and rpg adventure about Pantora and Raxus right now!
Loving all the Padme content recently!
This was simply a joy to watch. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this.
this video is a cinematic masterpiece.
peace was never an option
For the Separatist Alliance !
goosebumps all over my body
You are making such a great job. Your videos are incredible. It's impressive how you point out and highlight the great drama behind all the political events. Please don't stop!
Here before it was uploaded!
You made a master piece, thank you for your creation. Adding this to my like so this can help to live rent free in my brain
This is amazing, how doesn’t it have way more views? Great editing.
This is the perfect summary of the CIS, thank you for this!
Every American, Star Wars fan or not should watch your videos. It is a testament that this great “fairy tale” of a series in so many forms you so perfectly encompass has been trying to show us for years. Our democracy is fragile and there are too many selfish interests on both sides that financially gain from our divisions and the “star wars” that we fight. Here is to artists like you who show us the way through your creativity. Here is to hope, for our uncertain future. May The Force Be With All Of Us.
We aren’t a democracy we are a representative republic
@@Last_Victoryyou’re correction while true isn’t relevant in the context he is making. The United States is a constitutional republic that uses a democratic system.
Another masterpiece! Bravo and thank you so much ❤️
SWFT, I've had some pretty bad times recently in my life and I must say your content always lefts my spirits. Can't thankyou enough, wishing you all the very best for the future ❤️
Amazing edit bro! Congrats
Fantastic work as usual
this is fantastic. nobody really talks about the separatists much and I liked the comparisons with the rebellion 🔥
Fantastic. Love this so much
The Separatists were the first rebellion
Yes they were.
Both Republic and Separatist they are both pawns in the same War until both sides all lost together
Amazing work. Really highlights the political attributes of SW.
I love how there’s still separatists long after the galactic civil war the hope for something better never fades
Love how you used lines from the Plageious audiobook.
Honestly don’t know how you do this it is so spectacular ❤
A great edit as always but just one suggestion would be to have included more grievous clips, he was more into the separatist cause than dooku as he knew partly about the plan and that it was just a front.
I didn't include a lot of Grievous because the video focuses on the political aspects of the story and he's mostly in charge of the military. Also, most of his dialogue didn't fit the tone super well.
Alr and again it was so good
You can cut the atmosphere with a knife. Phenomenal job.
For the Glory of the Seperatist Alliance!!!
Wow. That was amazing
