when I started drinking bourbon, it became not an everyday drinker but was definitely the weekend is here bottle. At 60 it's good still one of my favorites. That being said I now own all the horses and a couple extra. By far my favorite is the barrel strength. At 80 I pass to many others out there that are good and not so hard on a retired guy budget.
John Wick drinks Blanton’s so always have a bottle on the shelves. 😂 I do enjoy blanton’s but I mainly stock the bar with Blanton’s for the non whiskey drinking friends. 🥃🤘🥃
agreed! i got one for 120$, and havent got another since. and to be fair if i was offered one at msrp, id only get it to give away because i know its special, but wouldnt want it for myself, id rather drink a regular buffalo trace any day lol

There are plenty of Bourbons I’d reach for before Blanton’s. Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Old Forester 1920 and KC12 just to name a few, all which I can easily obtain for cheaper. I’d highly encourage blind tastings to find bourbons you like. Scarcity and hype have no impact on perceived flavor/experience. It’s all subjective.
I love 1920, I’m always pretty honest in my reviews of hate for you guys to spend money on my word and not like something, Blantons is good but for the right price, 1920 is definitely worth it

Pop the cork & enjoy it. Bourbon is meant to be drank, not looked at. The only value is the juice that's in that beautiful bottle..
