- This week is day 3 of our trip wheeling our FJ Cruiser at Windrock Park in TN with the Venture Unknown guys. Here on day 3, It's all about the snow!! We make our way to Caryville Flats, but on the way the Severe Winter Storm of January 2022 rolled in and started dropping snow like crazy!! We likely should have turned back earlier, but we made it the whole way there. Getting out was a bit harder as the snow was dropping so fast that we couldn't see our tracks from 30 minutes earlier... But we're here to tell the story, and you can watch the fun!!
Just crazy going up there in that snow! Wow!
It's a fun kinda crazy though! 😁 We're going back this Friday, though I don't think we will see snow this time.
First in! Awesome video as always! Snow is super fun, but can quickly turn a relatively easy trail into impassible in pretty short order. Really enjoyed you describing what we were seeing at 9:15. LOL
Ya. It blew in fast. We considered turning back at one point but we were really close to the flats so we pushed on. I'm glad we didn't end up regretting that decision.

That looked like so much fun. I always enjoy things a lot more when its unpredictable and your not quite sure if its doable.
Ya, I knew that we all had tents and food or could just sleep in the trucks so we weren't going to die up there, but we started to get worried that we might get stuck for the evening.
