Die beste jemals von mir gehörte Interpretation. Himmlisch.
Mein Papa hatte diese Werke gespielt.
Ich, Berufsmusiker, ich hatte sie gespielt.
Doch was Hélène hier hinlegt, das ist vielleicht noch übertreffender das, was unser großer Bruder Brahms in seinen Kompositionen selber, himself, zu vernehmen vemocht hatte.
Was ich hier höre, das ist Brahms, überirdisch verwirklicht.

Que varonil i seriosa,introspectiva i filosofica és la música per a piano de Brahms.Contrast molt gran amb Chopin més lleuger i femení.J A.Vives 19-6-2019.

A bit of liberty taken with the third one, very agreeable nonetheless.
En l'última peça Hélène està exhuberant.Clara i precisa sense entrebancs i empastament de notes com sovint li passa a Kathia Buniatishvili.Àngel meravellós sembla que estiguis tocant desde el mateix cel.J.A.Vives. 17-6-2019.
Did ragtime come from the opening of Brahms> Intermezzo- Grazioso e giocoso 3rd movement of op 119? Just like it.
I remember hearing a similar remark about Brahms and ragtime by . . . oh, I can't remember his name. Used to have a show on Classical NPR.
Near the end of his life Brahms heard ragtime played at an outdoor venue in Vienna. He was heard whistling the tune on his way back home!
