This is a Close Look at the Seiko Prospex King Samurai - SRPE35K1.
The watch is ISO Certified & rated to 200m water resistance.
It has a Sapphire Crystal with Cyclops date magnifier, a ceramic bezel & a unique grid-like/waffle patterned dial.

I bought the white dial version with the black rubber strap. It is a fabulous looking watch and the waffle dial is eye-catching. I bought it as an alternative to the much dearer Omega Seamaster 300 with its wave pattern ceramic dial. Apart from price, and despite the excellent coaxial movement in the Omega, I thought the cyclops window easier for reading the date compared to the Omega. The lume is excellent and you can see the time clearly at night and in the half light. it doesn't take much to charge up the green lume. The movement is of course the well tried-and-tested NH35A which I have in a number of microbrands so I am perfectly happy with it. The winding movement is silky smooth and easy to do with the knurled crown. Overall, at 1/7 of the Omega's price (once discounted) the Seiko is excellent value for money and a very comfy and stylish diver.
If used in a Seiko, the movement retains the 4R34 name. Only in microbrands it's called NH35A. Identical movement, anyways.

this watch is under the radar for value.
It is a great watch but it's just sooo big! For a diver this big & heavy it's a tough sell I feel. In saying that, it's no way as daft as the new Rolex DeepSea...50mm case.....only Arnie, Stallone & the Rock can pull that off on the wrist

I have this with the white waffle and the manta ray. Looks luxurious with a hirsh rubber strap and rugged with a shell cordovan strap. I have the rolex submariner, the hulk. Just from the look, l cannot tell which bezel is of higher quality.
I also have the newly released 62mas reinterpretation. The finishing is way better than my sub. The brush finish is clear, distinct like those of the GS. For, it looks better than the sub.

Samurai ist eine fantastische Uhr, mit einem außergewöhnlich schönem Gehäuse, das sich sehr bequem trägt. Außerdem hat ein robustes, präzises Uhrwerk, Saphirglas und Ceramic Lünette und eine hervorragende Verarbeitung!
Ein sehr schönes Video mit sehr Detailierten Aufnahmen.

Hab außerdem 2 Seiko Sumo ( Hulk und Pepsi ) Captain Willard, Seiko Turtle, und zwei Seiko Presage.
Seiko baut Traumuhren für vor allem sehr erschwinglichen Preisen 🥰🥰 , zumindest meiner Meinung nach.

@@jonwolk4 ah ok! I am in Australia so it is one hell of a long way for delivery :) ... You guys should have plenty of option...google is typically your best friend ... But I would look at eBay and also Amazon... shouldn't be too hard to find.

this watch look a bit like Orient mako XL
I am very disappointed that my new King S ST Ocean is gaining 30 seconds per day. This is almost 4 minutes per week, so once a week I have to reset it. I find it unacceptable that such an expensive watch ($600) has such low quality control. Now, for the record, nobody uses them for diving nor bets their life on them thus. Every diver uses a diving computer.
Have you spoken to Seiko mate, it should be under warranty

@@JavierBonillaC will Amazon not help out....I have found them to be quite flexible if you kick up a stink mate.... they usually come to the party with a solution. Buying from Amazon should not affect the warranty...you have Proof of purchase so it shouldn't be an issue! 😄

It can happen, almost by chance ; The Casioak or no date Longines Heritage Diver.. but I find watches I really like and then look for the best bargains I can find.
