They really cheated us for a season that was supposed to be centered on Starfire and Blackfire as the main villain. And I miss Kory's glow and fire when she used powers, now it just doesn't make sense

No. I think we assumed one thing forgetting that this show taked a different approach to characters. Backfire being a child who wanted her sister is a good idea and I actually like it.
@@joshuareid4654 This isn't an assumption, the idea that Starfire and Blackfire would be the major focus of season 3 was what was promised by the writers, directors, and producers alike on several occasions; early on season 3's pre-production. Then we're given another season focused on Dick Grayson, his past, connection to the Bat Family, as well as Batman's rogue gallery of villains. This show is called Titans, not Nightwing and Super-Powered Friends. The writers always put Dick at the forefront of the show and treat the other protagonists as mere side characters. I say, the show deserves better writing and new direction.
@@jasonallen4999 That's the thing though. Based on what you said, it was in pre-production; giving the writers time to rewrite it if they so choose. We assumed based on the end of season 2 that Blackfire would be the villain.

No, here she's all cover and that doesn't make sense from a biological point of her race. She's the princess of Tamaran, people who get they're powers from the sun, and they are always on the less amount of clothes that they think is appropriate, to absorb the biggest amount of energy they can and it also correlates with a lot of things of they're culture and powers go around sexuality, not only for women, but also for Men, the reason why most of them are so easy to people falling in love with them, cause they're so sexy, sure of themselves and they're sexuality, bit here... None of that, and at least it would be cute that they would've explained that this tamarans work differently, but they don't do it, so is also poor writing and character development.

EXACTLY. Starfire is strong enough to lift at least 15 tons but they don’t really show it here to make Superboy be the muscles of the team.
And basically everything that she's on the comics, she's like a completely new character, like a cheap and bad imitation of the original.

Not entirely. They HAVE to make all characters depowered so there can be a story with CONFLICT. Superman get depowered all the time in animated shows and movies because if he had comic strength, he would wrap everything up quickly. There's a reason for WHY all these super powered characters and aliens go the same route.

I am aware when stars go supernova they turn blue but I am hoping her bolts become green
So I kind of didn't like how they made starfire the older sister while blackfire was the little one, also I wanted to see the aliens experiment on them so their powers grow stronger. Also I kinda wished that Starfire would have kept the fire and Blackfire had the blue like powers, I think it would have fit more since Blackfire's powers are supposed to be purple but idk. But nonetheless I enjoyed this season and both Starfire and Blackfire along with the rest of the cast.

People seem to only want it to be like the animated series and fail to realize it can be rewritten and things switched. I actually liked the reversal of her and star fire it was nice to see them actually get along because blackfire always pretended to be nice just to try to screw starfire over. The switch of the the powers as well I didn’t mind. The storyline is good in my opinion who cares about a few changes

Titans just has such bad writing, the storylines are rushed and convoluted, it's too Bat centric and a lot of good characters are underused. I keep wanting to have hope for this series but it's into season three and the writers are still doing this
Yeah the writing is incredibly bad. After three seasons these writers still can't get their stuff together. It's a shame because the show has so much potential
yes, they are all over the place, they aren't finishing the story lines and what was that choice to make Starfire's powers belong to Blackfire? Also, I do like the interesting turn they did with Superboy however knowing them they aren't going to handle it well.
Aside from a few things this season was actually pretty good. First 3 episodes I’d say were top tier CB tv show material imo, they definitely gotta simplify stuff tho you’re right. They didn’t have a clue what they were doing with scarecrow

hopefully season 4 gives us a more fleshed out power and her abilities are shooting bolts instead of a flamethrower considering her newfound powers (and I think that's where it's headed), and maybe a different color than blue. Also hoping Gar gets to transform to more animals next season this time around...

Written and created by people who have no idea who the character is, what their powers are, or what they look like. Probably saw a pic somewhere and went from there, close enough for them i guess. The ages of this cast is weird. Some look like kids others straight up old. This Starfire looks 40. While Blackfire looks younger. Part of her charm is not fitting into earth society very well. Speaking not quite right, like a person who doesn't speak English as their first language. This Starfire is threatening to burn people's dicks off. Way to much swagger. It just isn't in the spirit of the source material. Which is why D.C is so far behind Marvel when it comes to tv/ film. The people in charge do not care about the characters.
Everything you said makes no sense. That’s how the titans have ALWAYS been. Nightwing and Starfire were older training the young titans, just like in this show. And you want the nice Starfire that was in the cartoon, it’s NOT comic accurate at all, if you want the cartoon version, go watch that, stop bashing her cause she’s based off the original Starfire from the 80’s comics
