I’m thinking it’s because she had absorbed starfires power and that’s why it’s not purple like it should be, maybe over time the powers will settle and turn purple?

Black fire makes solar fire energy but that fire was removed and given to star fire. She and starfire both have super strength and speed
Starfire blue powers are starbolt energy basically more concentrated solar power
Raven has magic pretty much her half demon powers giving her shadow abilities
Donna is half Amazon so she’s a weaker Wonder Woman and that sums up that more confusing people lol

I’m upset because we didn’t even see MUCH of her abilities and why is her energy bolts not black!
I noticed recently You barely see abilities in superhero tv shows and it really sucks and when they do use them it’s a little dumb attack or something minor makes the people look less powerful
They were black (indicated by her eyes and the powers seem looming under the bed during her sex scene with super boy). They were stripped by the man that held her hostage so it would take a while to regain them once she left that cube she was in

i liked how the actor portrayed blackfire! Just wished that she was more of a villain and she had the blue power instead of kory, but the whole tamaran baby power swap thing was interesting
I love Blackfire being more morally gray than straight up bad. I do not want her to become just another vilian.
starfire’s new power at the end of the season (somehow blue or purple) should’ve been blackfire’s powers and she should’ve turned on them on the end so she can be the next season’s villain or something
Honestly I’m glad they went this way no extra family drama to be made out of it they know what each other are about and happy cause if they did have it like that I feel they make it way more dramatic then needed
It's not really a "new" power it was always inside of her she just couldn't access it the fire powers were always blackfires they were unfairly stolen from her at birth

@@seekeroftruth9454 the budget of superhero movies is way higher and I think they are trying to slowly lean into it as starfire's powers are now blue which she they are sometimes in the comics and they were just orange.

she's done good feats in the comics. In Red Hood and the Outlaws (2011) Starfire helps Blackfire to fight the Blights back on Tamaran and even asks Starfire to rule with her, but as much as she wants to, she couldn't because of her friends back on Earth. They've basically settled much of their differences, at least in that issue.
I’m glad they changed blackfire story sisters need to get along and anyway maybe they can bring her back as a villain build her up to be a villain. I love the actress
the ending of season 2 and the first time we meet her in season 3 have completely different tones. She is set up as a villain only to... not be a villain

I used to watch Teen Titans and Teen Titans go and I never got to watch the origins of Starfire and Blackfire's powers (I always assumed they were just born with them) so my question is to an actual expert. How do her powers work?
In the first place they're supposed to be green and purple lasers respectively not flames
Their powers are called starbolts, it's technically a bright fire, starfire's powers in the show are exactly the same in the comics where she first appeared, it's eather shown to be pink/purple light or fire, teen titans show gave starfire and blackfire different colors, green and purple, and it became popular so that's why we mostly see those collors on them, it's basically the same powers just looks different
P.s my fav is starfires Pink starbolts and blackfires flames just like in Outlaws comics

They revamped it to her just crashing her ship instead of the body snatching she did at the end of season 2

Feel like the last episode was so rushed... they didn’t really acknowledged raven when she came back after being gone for half the season and starfires powers weren’t even properly introduced ? How did she know how to use them straight away and why wasn’t anyone asking questions ? And red hood was not rlly portrayed very well compared to the comics :/

Star fire was born first with no powers. Then black fire was born and the parents transferred black fired power of fire into star fire. When starfire was healing black fire she took her powers back. Few episodes later starfire protects tamaran woman and baby and unlocks her power which is blue

It’s like they glance at the image of a character and decide to skim their bios on some Wiki page under the mindset of “I can make this better”. They also turned Star Fires people into a group of Alien Wakandans just so they could feel “inclusive” but still absolutely refuse to bring in the actual black titan Cyborg into the show. Fuck Doom Patrol, bring him back where he belongs!

They made up in the 90s comics and they’ve been friendly ever since until Dc rebooted in 2011. Modern comics Blackfire was never a villain and their relationship was more sisterly.

This Blackfire will go down in history as the worst and the most CW ''villain'' in Titans.
A hate this version of titans. Starfire and Black look nothing like their original appearances, they're powers are completely different from what they're supposed to be and Starfire does'nt have the same personality like in the animated shows and movies. This just looks like a low budget interpretation of them and it sucks

In the comics blackfires attire is extremely close to this one but with more detail. And they did switch up the storyline a bit but blackfires powers were purple/black but the man that held her hostage stripped them from her so she had to regain them but ended up taking her original powers she wielded from birth back from Starfire. This is a more modern and mature interpretation not a teen Titans remake
First off if u want a cartoon go watch one they never said it was going to be like teen Titans it’s called Titans not teen Titans. And they changed her because Black people don’t act like starfire does in the cartoon.
