I will answer some of your questions regarding the interior: - The base leather package DOES NOT have full leather seats. It is a mixture of leather and leatherette depending on on surface. - You can option in an alcantara headliner, leather sunvisor, alcantara grab handle or leather grab handle as extras. -You should check the door pockets because I believe those are leather as well in the full leather Panamera. - You can get the seat console (where you can adjust the seat controls) in leather. You can get the steering column and housing in leather. You can even get the door sills in leather as well which is wild EVEN the airvents can be wrapped in leather.
So I will say that unfortunately Porsche discontinued some of those options such as steering column in leather, sun visors and door handles are no longer options. On my new one I did upgrade the leather in every option. Seat console in leather is very nice and door sills are completely covered in leather
@ I have a 971.2 so I didn’t know they made all of these changes on the new gen. Perhaps it’s market-dependent. I will take a local at my local configurator and see if there are any changes to the new gen
@@derekwalsh1935 Ok. So my market also lacks the steering column in leather. But we still have leather/alcantara sun visor and grab handles. Seat console and door stills are still available. Edit: I forgot one option that used to be available on the 971.2 which is the leather trim on the dashboard sides. It is no longer available.
@@resadrecebli2263 Quite a bit when leaning back on date night with the wife. A Mercedes can even control her seat from the driver's door simultaneously.
Because it saves them a lot of money. New Cayenne suffers from this as well. Previous generation of the Panamera and Cayenne had a much more premium interior. The new ones are full of glossy black interior panels and cheap screens.
@@MonsieurGuy which I can understand for regular/cheap cars, but doing cost reduction on premium cars which cost 100k+ where price is not a problem does not make sense at all...
Because it looks “premium” yet saves them money. Removing buttons in a luxury car, then claiming having less buttons is “luxurious” because of looks is pure money-making evil.
The previous one was rock solid 😭
i don t see here any problem, unless you don t vandalise the A/C Vents.
The interior looks and feels much cheaper than the OG Panamera. That thing is gorgeous, with all those buttons and wood.
Absolutely agreed!
Porsche never disappoints

can you review a vw phaeton or land cruiser
Plastic interior door handles is wild on a $130k luxury sedan that’s btw practically a base model
This is actually fine, Porsche is that thing where if get all the fancy options it becomes a actual nice car, if you don't... trash.
Great car but Porsche should be learning from Mercedes by now and mount seat controls on the doors not by the floors.
how many times do you actually use those buttons? I think it's better to leave the door panel look clean
