I have swallowing issues( can't eat solid meats, veggies etc). On a soft or pureed diet so cottage cheese is one of my go to foods for protein. I use whole milk and add peanut butter or eggs, whipped cream, mayo to give me calories as I need to gain weight. Cottage cheese can be used in smoothies and to make ice cream.

Cottage cheese is indeed great, yet I am more into full-fat Greek yoghurt (I am Greek, so it comes naturally ha-ha) and feta cheese. As for feta cheese, I am not consuming a whole lot; I'll crumble a small piece on my salads and mostly as a seasoning. Salt varies depending on a couple factors. For instance, soft feta cheese isn't as salty as hard. Also, feta cheese is produced in various parts of Greece and in each place the recipe is different when it comes to salt. I've never had egg bites; I'll certainly give it a go. Thanks Autumn.
