I love your video man, right to the point and you don’t put an ad right in the middle if the video like others do, when people do that it feels like they are just screwing us. Thank you for the excellent video, keep up the great work!!
I'm with you on giving up on GoPro, I just can't keep replacing them once they start failing on me. I just picked up the Action 5 and DJI mic 2, it's great how you can connect the mic wirelessly to the camera. I haven't taken it out yet but one thing I noticed right away is how much better the quick capture button is compared to the Action 3. Are you shooting in wide or super wide here? Most reviews on the new cameras from all 3 three brands are just paid advertisements these days unfortunately. I do like Camera Conspiracies, entertaining guy.
@@PNWEnduro This was shot in the widest possible view. I haven’t tried the DJI Mic 2 but i definitely will. My main concern is keeping track of the mic battery along with the action camera. I know I will leave it on at some point and lose audio because of a dead battery.
@@RacerRed If the Mic battery dies it should revert back to the camera mic, not ideal but better than losing audio completely. I will last 6 hours so even if you leave it on that should be enough for a lot of rides.
Great to hear! The DJI cameras are great. The only issue i have had with them is the audio. It’s tough to get the audio sounding good if you’re using a lav mic
@@MOTOCREEKyeah, they say that capturing that many frames can make people dizzy because your brain blurs images on purpose. If there’s no blur on the video as things move past you it can make it feel unnatural.
I've been thinking about the DJI myself. Like you mentioned I've lost tons of hours of video with my gopro 10. I really like the GoPro but loosing video and I'm really not a fan of how it cuts the video into 5min sections. Then I'd had it use the same code number over then it deletes the old section of video. How does the DJI format their videos? Do they divide say a 20 minute video into 4 5 minute sections?
I believe you can change your GoPro settings to create larger clips. I think my GoPro makes only one clip when I am done recording. My issue with the GoPro is that every once in a while it freezes and deletes the clip.
@@snakeoiler2921 I just looked up information about this. Apparently the memory card does it and not the camera. Apparently there are no setting in the camera that can fix this.
@@snakeoiler2921 Oh, also, if you do "quick capture" (just hitting record without pushing power button first) I think the gopro does make 5 minute clips for some reason. If you turn the gopro on, then hit record, the gopro should make longer clips.

My last trip, 10 days, I used the DJI OA4. Worked perfect with no issues. I think I ended up with 200 clips. Great camera!

Spot on clarity with your voice! It’s definitely showing much more detail in the low light situations. Are you using 30 or 60 fps?
@@MOTOCREEK I use 60fps but might switch eventually so it seems more natural with movement and file size would be half.
@@RacerRed I switched after reading it tends to help people with motion sickness. The feedback was positive and the extra storage is a plus.

@ The new video lineup sounds great! Putting in the work man 👍
I’ve found that using 30fps makes the image jittery when motovlogging. 60fps doesn’t show it so much.

@RacerRed thank you, I'll have to check into that
