Creed Tabarome was my very first niche purchase back in 2009/10 (old 4.0 oz bottle) I still have less than half. This smells like something Sherlock Holmes would wear. Enjoy a small bottle of Timbuktu & I have a 5.0 oz bottle of Azzaro Pour Homme that I adore. Never tried any of the 3 I listed in Spring. Will test them out now for sure. Darn it Ramsey, the TH-cam algorithms are real! 🤯 I was just looking up Monsieur de Givenchy to see other similarities yesterday. I own the EDT, aftershave, deo spray & face soap. After hearing you rave about the Haute Concentration, I bit the bullet and bought a 98% full one online a few hours ago. My wallet hurts, but I trust your nose even on blindbuys (Romeo Gigli is Great! 👍 Thanks) I do like my modern frags, but I have great appreciation for the frags of yesteryear; love and own a lot of them too. No where near your collection though. Yours is EPIC! 🤩 Appreciate your honest & detailed reviews. Glad to have frag reviewer's like you, Kelan Scents of South Jersey, Chris from Scentland & Mr. Smelly in the fragcom.
Very happy that I stumbled upon your channel. Was born in 74 and experienced so many of your mentions in my Teens and Twens..I have been into the „ frag game“ since 12 due to my father who always puts much emphasis on grooming. His fave was and still is Davidoff Zino:). I was lucky to experience so many 80s and 90s perfumes and did collect so many memories .. can’t believe I almost forgot about them and focused mostly on the new stuff… Mabert Man, Alain Delon Cologne, Daniel Hechter Charactere, Aramis, all Davidoffs etc…However as in your case with your father wearing PR, Zino has always been in my collection. One of the rate occasions I am thankful for YTs algorithm. Keep it up and all the best from Germany!
Jean-Paul Guerlain’s Vetiver is one of my all-time favorite fragrances. Vetiver, Habit Rouge, Shalimar, L’Instant EDP, and Heritage are my absolute favorites. Oh, and Azzaro Pour Homme is in that list, too. Vetiver is fresh and deep at the same time. I never get tired of it. Great video.
Great selection of fragrances! I've been on a vintage purchasing spree and this video was a reminder I need to move and finally pick up some vintage Paco Rabanne/Azzaro Pour Homme. Right now, my hands down favorite green fragrance is Eugen's Des Cendres. My brother who doesn't know anything about fragrances wears the crap out of my Des Cendres, too. I better get a backup or three for good measure. So many fragrances to get and so little money!!! lol
Awesome list Ram, I don’t grab obvious seasonal appropriate fragrances myself. I go with my fickle mode tells me 😆,Everything is on the table any time of the year, so happens you have uite the lot on your perfect “Spring “ selection 🙏✌️👍
Thanks for this video! This spring I’ll be wearing Eau de Campagne from Sisley (one of JCE’s earliest creations), Mal Aimé from Parfum d’Empire (unusual inula note), and Undergrowth from UK indie house Rook Perfumes (mint, wet soil, vetiver). Reminder to look for the package I sent you as I would like to hear your thoughts on a suitable alternative to Irisqué from Providence Perfumes (great scent with ultra poor performance).
@@RamseytheRam I appreciate it. I've gone through the major iris fragrances (I wore Hiris for a while) but many are too sweet, with dreaded vanillin, or with a sandalwood accord.
I love the 5 x 4 concept! With how the weather is in my area this year, I'm considering an Amouage-April. And I'd love to get my nose on an orig. Blend 30... (BTW the Stars are streaking at the right time, do you think the Central is theirs?? - I'm trying to think of a possible NHL themed list haa! )
OK, I read a long time ago that Guerlain Vetiver was released in Europe 1959, and released in the USA in 1961. But I agree, it is THE vetiver fragrance. The reference vetiver. Also have full bottles of Creed Tabarome Milliseme, Monsieur de Givenchy, Azzaro Pour Homme.
☆Oh my Gawdness, I got my bottle of Turbo in third grade, and the juice is lime green still. Lol! I remember chokin' out my fellow classmates!!! The bottle is supposed to be shaped like fuel additive! It was picked up at Thriftys drugstores. The other beast I wore was a green juice colored British Sterling that was engraved with his initials. Awesome vid Ram🎉😊❤☆
@@RamseytheRam totally… Siberian Musk is the real Crème de la Crème in terms of musk fragrance for me 😀 No pun ! I do enjoy the new Crème de la creme ambergris too 😅
Without sounding like a bro, i wore what i consider spring Creed's this week... Selection vert, GIT, Vetiver geranium, Green neroli, Feuille verte and always Green valley on Easter Sunday!
I've been going down the Guerlain Vetiver rabbit hole and have an 80s EDC, 1995 EDT, 2009 Ribbed bottle like yours, 2016 Green cap, and the new square one. It really is amazing how the new bottle is compared to the older ones. I still love the 1995 bottle the best, but the new one is not far off. Oddly enough, the 2016 green cap may be the bottom of the list.
I have some Jovoys I will be discussing on the Channel... I probably have 6 bottles or so... They are probably just outside of my top 100... and my buddy Nick from across the pond just sent me like 15 Jovoy samples of all the ones I don't own... so you will definitely be hearing more about Jovoy on channel Ram soon .... 21 Conduit St. Would be my Spring recommendation for Jovoy... very interesting fresh take on Rhubarb
Fellows Ramsey fans and Ramsey , need frag advice , gentle fluidity silver or pdm Layton for next niche , plan to use one of these two for the next two -three years and versatility
@nak1379 Ramsey does not like MFK (except some discontinued references like Ciel de Gum or Absolu pour le Soir) nor PDM which very often considered by some more expert noses like entry niche (ie more like designer fragrance with niche prices). What kind of scents are you after ? I am a woman but I do own a few unisex / masculine leaning fragrances. If people know what kind of scent you are after they might be able to help
You and Rich Mitch are such a bad influence on me. Yesterday I bought a Maitre Parfumeur Gantier fragrance that Rich Mitch have been talking about recently: Bois de Turquie. Today, I watched your video. I have been contemplating buying my 1st Areej La Doré fragrance for a while. I almost bought Mysore Incenza as I love Mysore sandalwood (Samsara EDT vintage is one of my favourite scents). At the end of your video, I heard you mentioning Forbidden Flower. In one minute : my purchase was completed! Lol
@@RamseytheRam gosh I have managed to make the Rams jealous! 😂. Bois de Turquie is really nice. Perfect for spring time. And the best part is the price tag: I got a 30ml bottle for 65 USD.
Wearing Guerlain Vetiver today, love this in the spring! Quorum is also on the to wear list this week! I’ll wear whatever I feel like in a day, might wear Overture in the summer, also I’m getting complaints for wearing Kouros in the summer 😂 Who cares? I can’t stay away from these scents, sorry! 😂
You are quickly becoming my favorite fragcom TH-camr. Your taste is impeccable.
