Was lucky to register for the MS auctions and snagged some liens, but missed the Indiana registrations (dang). Have had mixed experience with the Mississippi OTC. I followed their rules for submitting offers and got a deed last year, but all the other offers I made are stuck going on 7 or 8 months. I called and I am first in line on all of them, but I have to wait for each county to do an individual appraisal which seems to take forever.
Wow - congrats on the MS liens, but I hate to hear that you're stuck on the OTC properties. I'm assuming you called the state to find out your place in line, so I wonder if there's someone at the counties you can call to get an ETA on the appraisals? It's too bad the counties aren't more motivated to get you a prompt response and sell.
