- dropping off my 86 Lx mustang Saleen clone at Savage performance speed shop down in Kentucky. so for now probably going to do a tune up, set the timing, Radiator flush, remove cats and smog pump and possibly buy a used On3 turbo kit if I can get it for a nice price 😎
93 cobra had the 4 lug rear disc. Really diggin the 4 eye cars man 😍. Can’t wait to see more of it🤤

That's a sweet ride man. The rear discs look like an old Baer Brakes kit that used Corvette rear calipers and rotors that were re-drilled to 4 lug. Take the wheel off and check the rotor lug pattern(s). It has a tight sound. Very healthy. Congrats on the purchase.
Yea your right about those rotors... The pads say baer on them. I haven't got the chance to take the wheel off to look at the discs yet. And I've been told that corvette thing before. Im dreading the day the rotors will need to be replaced tho.. But Im very happy with the car so far.. She handles like she's on rails!!! Should be a great road course car!
Marcus I came here to check your four eyes saleen clone. Wow four lugs rear disc brakes on a foxbody mustang. It is interesting I have never seen that before. It sounds healthy and looks beautiful!
I have a few leads on the 4 lug disk brakes... Could be from a 93 cobra or a thunder bird... .. I have heard possible Chevrolet from a old camro but I'm still doing investigation work.. Thanks for checking out the Saleen clone she's a little riff around the edges but fixing her up will make her truly mine!
The rear disk is possibly from the turbo thunderbird I was gonna do the rear disk swap but haven’t done it yet
So I believe they are some kinda discontinued baer brakes.... They don't make the 4 lug for the fox body platform anymore... Tomorrow I'm going to ask the guys at savage for a part number and call baer,, to see if I can figure it out... the only clue I have is the caliber say baer,,, and I have heard also 93 cobra brakes come 4 way disks that year... Someone also said the thunderbird clue on one of the groups im in on Facebook... I appreciate the clues I have some investigation work sounds like!!

Yea there definitely some monster brakes!! I don't think I could even fit 15" rims on her lol
Ohhhh yea word of advice don't take your mustang to this dude unless you have lots of patience.. his a nice guy,, he really is,, , but if I was in a different Financial situation we would have had a few words about how much he charged me for super slow work and I believe the going rate for a Kidney in Mexico is like 2500 bucks or something right? Well for a water pump and a spit shine looking over the thing I could have bought a new engine for the price I paid.. yea he knew his shit but not super impressively that I couldn't find a little flaw in what he was saying am dam sure not an mechanic but I dam sure know what everything does and how to make a car faster and the physics at play inside a running engine..

What part is the lower balance? I've seen a few Saleen body kits but you have to. Buy the whole thing to get the side skirts.. I want to replace the rear bumper piece but I found one on the scratch and dent pag on tjpony parts website. . they still wanted 180 for the bumper sent back and resanded part unfortunately.

@@D.T.350AG couldn't find the one piece I needed and that was the bumper.. Side skirts front bumper yup can buy separate. .. Rear bumper couldn't find

@@D.T.350AG I spent about an hour a couple of days ago looking on every website ebay included and Saleen but don't remember seeing it but maybe ill look again. . kinda came to the conclusion that im probably going to just put some masking tape on the sagging part witch is that part that is parallel with the ground and just cut that part off.. Its way too long and really needs to be braced with something very sturdy.. Right now im scared to drive over 70mph because it like a cup and its probably pulling on the pins holding the bumper it looks horribly bad.. The hood doesn't line up right with the grille and that's going to drive me insane soon too!
