Parents not being responsible and knowing who and what their kids watch and doing their due diligence. I know what my kid watches. I've taught his youtube account which channels he's watched that I don't approve of and they don't show anymore. I talk to him and tell him why he needs to watch something else when he does. It's not hard, but maybe I'm just more tapped in with my son. I spend a lot of time with him and will watch what he wants on TV or listen to his tablet often, not so much to police it but because I'm with him anyway, so I may as well pay attention at times. Other parents don't take the time or go through the effort, I guess.

I can hear it now: "to our fans that showed up to the Ace fest and were upset that they had to pay an additional $15 to go on the FREE rides, I'm sorry but the venue didn't allow us to bring our own rides since we had to share the lot with this other festival so we essentially had to use ALL their equipment...their food stalls, their rides, their stage. It wasn't what we planned, it was too late to cancel and we clearly couldn't tell you in advance but we hope you enjoyed meeting us from a distance."

Man, why can’t we have a renaissance of these YT channels. A lot of the people who were in drama from 2016-2018 have made somewhat good changes and have grown from the idiot selves (it doesn’t change them making horrible contents.) However these people have had no change and are still super exploitative, still doing dumb things with the children they have and it’s just disgusting.
Their prices are ridiculous. I didn’t even spend $500 on my ticket to EDC or any other large scale 2-3 day festival.

In my opinion, it appears that the Ace family has probably used money from Ace Fest ticket sales and negotiated a deal to prepay admission to the carnival for the total number of tickets sold, and in return, the carnival (and art festival, or whatever else is happening) will allow entry to anyone with an Ace Fest ticket. In exchange for their guaranteed presold attendance, I'm sure they can use Ace Fest/Ace Family branding and signage throughout grounds and other events. Even without the Ace Fest, the carnival and art festival will attract their own crowds, and this explains why they claimed to sell out of tickets when they didn't; they will try to present the attendees of all three events as if everyone is there for Ace Fest.
The other events already provide their own security, insurance, staff, concessions, etc. The Ace Family cost would be very minimal.
So, seems like they probably sold the tickets for a ridiculous amount of money, paid the admission fee to the other events up front out of each ticket, and now they just have to get maybe a dj and some lights and stand there taking pictures while pocketing the rest of the money. It's a definitely a creative way to have a low cost, high return event, but it's also a sketchy, shady scam.

You couldn’t pay for my tickets, flight, hotel, all food while I’m there and also give me some extra money to take home to go to this event and I truly mean that

They are charging Universal Studio prices for Phyre Fest 2022. It’s only like $60 bucks to get into Six Flags & they have a water park.
Here's my predicition: Just like with that car-rental company. The business that they stole the video from will come out of nowhere and say that the Ace Family paid for the footage which will be legal code for "we settled out of court for unspecified cash and we get some exposure." And, I get the crazy feeling that their "partners" in the Summer of Soul Festival didn't realize that the Ace Family was charging $100 a ticket.

Since they came out and said that they “sold out” of their tickets a few weeks ago… I wonder if that has anything to do with the OTHER festival they are sharing the space with. Like a situation where both event holders can only have a certain amount of people allowed in the festival grounds and that’s why the Ace family said that the tickets were sold out.
They make their kids edit the videos. And the "mistakes" are them making a desperate call for help.

Right he certainly isn't professional. I am taking a computer class and I have been learning about media, video and how the computer converts data. There is actually a way to search for,at least graphics and still images, that can be used that arent copyrighted. Even in an art class I took there was a discussion about using photographs as reference material and how careful you had to be when using a photo to paint from. I am sure this extends to video footage. Anyone with formal training in this industry would have had coverage of copyright laws and licensing in regards to graphics. The law is very clear about the penalty when using creative material when you don't have permission to use it

What’s particularly tragic, is they could potentially just have held a transitional footage contest. With the (maybe top 3) winners having their footage in the festival hype video, a percentage of the revenue earned from the video, and free tickets to the festival.
Sadly though, we’re talking about individuals who do things very poorly and illegally.

So regarding the festival “b footage” it actually isn’t B footage at all as it comes from professional videographers that make money off of that footage and hold a copyright to it. It isn’t from a subscription service nor is it royalty free.
That's literally the entire point of the video- that it's not b roll. That it's stolen.

It's the saddest for their kids that are growing up with them as rolemodels, thinking that this kind of behavior is right and healthy. I want to make it as a creator as well, but creating fake scenarios and fake realities and using my children and even myself in the way they do, just to get the exposure they're getting is not the way I'd go, I'd rather remain insignificant than become someone that isn't even me. At this point, I'd be embarassed to have my channel still up and even more promoting things.
Here's the thing Summer of Soul Fest is 10:30-6pm doors open @ 10 close @7pm. And AceFest open noon until 10pm. So if they're sharing space as the event center has confirmed in the 'carnival parking lot'. How is that going to work. Especially when I sus McBrooms advertised performers etc from SoulFest. There isn't enough space available to have a 'Coachella meets Disneyland' as they advertised which they've now deleted.

It’s going to be like the strawberry festival in plant city Florida where they have a small portion dedicated to kids rides. I bet you’ll be able to get into the festival and where the kids rides would be there would be a ticket check where u can go meet and greet in the farthest smallest area near the corner of the kids section
