Thank you Chris, love these video tips. I was wondering if there is a way to automatically delete audio files in the pool. What I am talking about is when I record a guitar track and then I retake the track to clean up my performance all of the tracks get stored in the audio pool. I know I can go into the pool window, select unused tracks and then delete them but sometimes I forget to do that. It would be nice to have a way where it does that automatically. I have searched the forum with no avail. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Marker modifier works for me in naming markers. My issues are disappearing tools and weird export errors, though theres some voodoo with the export issue. Also, I cant change input bus after I have created the audio track only when initially setting it up. Thanks Chris. You moved to my childhood home town I saw. You like it? Calgary. Great tips.
Still don't know why we can't "ripple" route multiple inputs to multiple channels when adding those channels. (I know it can be done afterwards on the mixer, but that still takes time). StudioOne has had that feature for so long. When adding multiple channels, it gives you an "Ascending" tick box to auto increment the inputs. Saves so much time when doing multitrack recordings at events.

Thanks Chris, its a great video. Can you tell, if I'm able to use more than 9 markers with the keyboard. 1 and 2 are reserved for the start and the end of an area, so there only 7 markers left.

I am on a Windows PC. The Alt+Shift for naming markers on the fly does not work for me. However, Ctrl+Alt+Shift works for on the fly naming markers. Thanks for the useful tips! 😊👍
Hi Chris, thanks for your great videos! I have a question I couldn't find an answer anywhere. If I hover over a automation lane of a group track where the volume lane is always visible the select tool automaticaly changes to the write tool and if I'm not careful with my trackpad I set a point in the automation lane and activate automation without wanting it. Is there a possibility to deactivate the behaviour of automatically changing to the write tool? Couldn't find anything in the preference window or elsewhere. Thanks for help

It's not in sync with the project when running and is always in Solo even I haven't hit the Solo button
The project ruler continues where it left off within the Vari Audio Editor

Yepp, drag & drop from chord track
Nice to draw the cyclemarkers and renaming them with the modifier keys. I didn't know that. 👍But it is impossible to add cyclemarkers or markers underneath other cyclemarkers. Also it's the same for the locator (loop) section. I mostly draw the section I wanna loop with the mouse on the ruler track but you can't draw a new one over it when starting within the current section. It is these little things that you wonder why? 😒Do developers actually work with the feature they create?

Sadly there is no 'Append clip name to event name' in my Cubase 10 pro. So this feature is not for all versions of Cubase.

Chris...cubase has a huge bug that really pisses me off...when you are using the mouse if by accident you click on volume automation line in group or fx and you dragg that line down by accidentally making a automation point (arrange windows) when you hit undo the point is gone but the volume stays at the volume that the point was...is there a way to fix that...??? I dont know if I was clear... Thanks for the great content

Studio One has been copying Cubase from day one.
The new GUI is a mess. Especially the mixer section is horrible IMO
