I have no team,..I'm just a lonely a one man band! ;-) I was just in Toronto earlier this year and I was soooooo EXITED to fly into "YYZ". So much so that I had to take a selfie at the big "YYZ" letters in the airport. (I'm a huge RUSH fan)
I just noticed there was 2 different footages. In the shot with the mark twain boat i couldn't see woody in scene one, but when it changed, he appeared! Amazing footage! Loved this, i guess this was filmed before the dragon was sadly removed due to the fire. Thank you for making me re live the amazing show. It felt like i was actually there! Loved it!!!
I'm so glad you got this before the dragon burned down. You have such an incredible eye and I love how many angles and cameras you have going, I seriously don't know how you don't have more subs. You truly are my go to channel for my Disney shows! You attention to detail is remarkable and doesn't go unnoticed.
Thank you for making your outstanding production of Disney's nighttime shows. This show is one of my favorite attractions in all theme parks along with Sesame Street 4D, Shamu at SeaWorld San Diego, and World of Color shows. I'm sad to see that Fantasmic is going on hiatus after the fire incident and Pirates of the Caribbean segment retiring to let Peter Pan sequence return. But I'm really happy that the show is about to reignite the night on May 24, 2024.
The Pirates of the Caribbean scene just encompasses the swashbuckling adventure feel of the films and the music is phenomenal. I wish it did feature a little more Barbossa. But it’s always a treat to see Curse of the Black Pearl get some recognition.
This one scene completey smashes ours in Florida. We get Alladdin swinging one time and California gets multiple swings, multiple tight rope walks with sword fighting, bungie slinging up and down and upside down hanging stunt. I dont know...but I'd guess the California version cost per night is considerably higher than Orlando's
@@CLIFFLIX I think they’re about the same budget, but I think the heroes scene was a little short notice considering the fact they just got back after two years of quarantine. However, nothing compares to Disneyland’s Dragon, hopefully they’ll repair her soon!
That Pirates scene IS amazing. If I was Disney's legal team, I'd be sweating every performance. Even with all the safety features, it's STILL a dangerous act! In Florida we have a cool scene where Aladdin swings from right to left....one time. ;-)

I've been a megafan from the first time I saw it, on its 4th night ever playing back in 1992, and this is, by far, the best produced video of "2.0" that I've ever seen. Wonderfully done, Cliff! ... I hope you get the opportunity to film the relaunch version in May!

Stellar video as usual! For me, the original Fantasmic! will always be the superior version, with Murphy, of course. I just loved the Peter Pan segment so much more. “I see the Light” is one of my favorite songs, but I feel like Snow White being at the end of the Princess segment Fed into the Evil Queen segment so much better, and having that fun transition removed was SO disappointing!!
Everytime I watch the show, 12:00 always gets me...and it seems like everyone else too. Anyway, the audio and editing is amazing. I can really hear the bass and the power of the orchestra and vocals. I love how even at the end at 26:03, you panned the trumpets left, then right. Amazing work, CLIFFIX. 😄

@@CLIFFLIXI'm a west coast folk, and the fact that you've been able to historically capture the original version of World of Color (my favorite version) and (possibly) the best version of Fantasmic we'll ever see again (given the dragon accident), all in the best quality possible, I just hope you know it does not go unappreciated!!!
Amazing . This show makes me cry of hapinnes. I went to disneyland since i was 4 years . Now i have 25 and i looking for a vacation time with my girl who never watch someting like this.
No more moving side fountains (or in this recording(s), non-existent) is a pain. They never restored them after the show returned and eventually switched them to static fountain heads. Great recording and production however! Love the finale.
Another gem Cliff! I'm always amazed by your work to the point where I don't even want to know how it's done. As a photographer myself, It's just pure inspiration watching your work and how you color grade natural light so vividly and sharply in low light. Thank you as always for all the hard work and dedication for these amazing productions.
I still come back to rewatch this video from time to time... I hope the new version of this show which comes out in May, is as good as, or better than this version... Also, have a merry Christmas, Cliff!

When Fantasmic! does returns to Disneyland in spring 2024, I hope the new battle scene between Sorcerer Mickey and Maleficent will be temporary. The show is not same without the dragon!

Wow....you were there on that historic day in Disney history! Well?...I hope they rebuild "Murphy" next year. She is really the highlight of the show. However, this show is expensive to opperate every day and making a new dragon will be another expensive cost. And...its happening at a time when Disney just can't afford it. Sadly,...Disney has much bigger problems to deal with right now. :-(

I was there to witness murphy burn down my favorite show for many years... Didnt realize it would be the last for a while 🥲 i hope to see the dragon again one day...
This looks so much better if you increase the contrast and intensify the color. As raw footage, it doesn’t look anything like the actual show if you were there. Only a digital camera could make it look so colorless and flat.
Yeah,...I wish YoiTube had a "replace" video feature. The blacks are a bit lifted higher than I want. As far as contrast though, the idea is to retain highlights and not blow them out. Raising contrast can burn the brightest image parts. I dunno, somwday I'll release a modified edit again. Different monitors will also change the blacks. If somebody has a monitor that crushes blacks than this video will look OK on those monitors.

Love the updated pyrotechnics and colors but it still definitely lacks the cohesiveness of the old fantasmic
