A really sad update, but Maleficent’s dragon caught fire in tonight’s 10:30pm show of Fantasmic. I really do hope everyone is ok.
No injuries were reported and the show is scheduled for tonight, without Murphy of course.

@@TheIndependentLens looking at the aftermath they pretty much covered the whole area where Maleficent stood. They had a crew already dismantling what’s left of her.

I saw this show at Disneyland for the very first time and I was amazed the fireworks are also projected on the rivers of America
Hi Jen, It's a great show and even if the fireworks don't go off (due to weather conditions), they project Mickey's Mix Magic there as well.

You know, I’m usually more into WDW for most shows, but maaaaan does Disneyland have WDW beat on Fantasmic. This version is so much better.

We were at WDW for the reopening of Fantasmic. You do get stadium seating, big plus, but yes our version is top notch!

I haven't been to Disneyland since Grad night in 2008.
I want to go and see this so bad, I have been to Disneyland or Disney World since I was a toddler, I remember meeting certain characters and giving Mickey a hug but I don’t think I ever watched fantasmic. Just watching this makes me emotional and idk why 😂 I’m a very emotional, empathetic person and I feel like I’d be crying to whole time. The music is beautiful, the performance is so detailed and well put together, its quite the display and I can’t imagine what it’d be like in person

Having just watched both this and the new WDW version, the music in this seems faster (it's about 4 minutes shorter) and I think, despite the nice projection mapping in the DL version and the better looking dragon (but who didn't seem to spit a fireball into the water), the WDW version is much better. This felt a little hurried and smaller in comparison. Still both very enjoyable. Just an independent Brit's take on the two.

Hi Cheyenne, not only without the high price of the ticket but also without the stress of finding a spot to view. Even with a dining package, it can still be stressful, as everyone still wants the best spot they can get.
Thank you for this. I have little kids who making them wait for viewing spots for a show like this is questionable... especially if the show is not worth the wait. This really helped me decide. Thanks again!

Just got back in town from my wonderful trip with my family to Walt Disney World. I have the Disney Vacation Club...so we stayed at Animal Kingdom Safari view.. so Awesome! We did all the Disney parks..Sea World Orlando.. Universal Island Of Adventure..then drove to Tampa Bay for Bush Gardens. Got flight canceled on the way home and sat at the airport for 9 hours before it got canceled ugh.. lol.. spent 2 extra unwanted days in Orlando.. but back now..catching up on your videos..This Video is amazing. Such great work on the visuals... you truly captured the magic!!! Yall truly are top notch with your videos...Thank you for continuing to share your experiences in such an incredible way 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾
OH MY! What a wonder trip you had, you hit all the theme parks...... that's the way to do it! Sorry to hear about your flight flight cancellation, flight delays stress us out let along a cancellation. Hopefully you were able to see some more fun things with those two extra days! You must be exhausted 😴 Fantasmic was amazing, glad we were able to get a really great spot so we can share with everyone not able to make it out.

Oh yes we did it all..got a lot of footage too..my nieces and nephews had a blast .and they agree to bring magic bands to Anaheim lol..Yes very exhausted... the airline did book us hotel rooms for free..and paid for our transportation to and from the airport..we decided to do Epcot Center again and got on the new Galaxy Edge Cosmic Rewind Coaster. That ride was awesome. I think I will take tomorrow off...relax...and catch up on my Walker Chronicles videos. Lots of content to watch. Can't wait! Thanks for continuing to give us amazing content!

It did work out, but we're excited that you go to get on it! Did you get motion sick? We'll be there later this year and hope to rope drop it.
@@TheWalkerChronicles oh yes a bit frustrating....but so glad to be back home! Omg you're going to love Cosmic Rewind... I've heard people say they got motion sickness on it...but none of us had that experience at all. It was a very fun and smooth ride from my experience.....

Thank you Rin! We did the dining plan at River Belle Terrace. Watch our latest video, we cover the price and what you get. We didn't do the premium, just the standard. View was amazing, although because Blue Bayou is closed we received their seated area.

Man we got the dining package but they wouldn't let us put the camera above the rail on opening night. How'd you get this view?? I mean it's like perfect. The auto ISO you have is little hot when mickey is up, it's really hard to nail without going manual.
Hi Larry, we sat right up against the water/rail and shot through the railing. Once the camera was there it was set to auto, no way to manually correct the ISO, set it and forget it 🙃. We do have another Fantasmic video coming up where we correct a lot of the hot spots. Should look amazing....Stay tuned!

Yes. The Mark Twain ship is used for the finale, you caught a very rare situation on your trip, where the characters were on land to do the ribbon portion of the show.

This was the first showing when the show came back, it never lifted off the ground. Was broken from the moment the show started. Hopefully we'll see them take flight again soon!
As of yesterday, June 17th, the carpet is up and running again!

Good recording of it. All ways prefer the original over this version but it is still good. Still far superior than the Disneyworld version. Always wanted to be Sorcerer Mickey and have the fireworks go off when I pointed in that direction.

I k ow Disney attractions and events have to evolve, but I hadn't been to Disney in a few years and didn't know this had changed, so it was a little jarring and disheartening bit of course it was still wonderful!

Yes it still breathes fire... We went on the opening night and not everything was working properly.......

@@ivewarrior2This is the showing of Fantasmic in Disneyland in Anaheim, California. There is a different version of Fantasmic that is shown at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida that I personally think is better.
