This was an amazing experience! First, though, I apologize that at 20:28 - 23:39 I had to mute the audio due to copyright! Such a bummer but there is audio throughout the rest of the video.
Anyways this was AWESOME! A cast member opening night told me to watch here because we can see all the characters! And this spot did not disappoint! There were maybe 6 people at the most at any given time. So the characters interacted DIRECTLY with me! It was magical! I was saying that I felt like a little kid because I saw SO many characters and they were literally saying hi to ME! 😭😭😭 It was awesome! I 1000% suggest doing this for one of the shows! Right!? It made my night! 🙌🏽 Our oldest son doubted me doing it and he wasn't with me during this livestream so when he watched it he said "Ok mom! You were right! I want to go to this spot now!" Hahaha It's something different if you've seen the show.

I agree!!! The opening night of Fantasmic was so hectic and for the CM to kindly share about this spot knowing it was so crazy was so amazing. I'm so glad I took her advice!
At 12:48 the characters disembarking are the characters that will become other ones for the Mark Twain finale. Those staying on are probably stuntmen who only have roles in the Peter Pan sequence

Where did Ariel appear from? Was she behind that rock looking shield? Or did that just use that to shield your view of her hopping onto the rock?
Wasn't that neat! I wasn't paying attention when I was recording it and then all of a sudden she appeared hahahaha So I think they carried her on and they were covering her with the rock! And a blanket! Then when she was ready they removed it.
She’s standing next to Eric starting at 6:00 she’s in all black tho. She walks on with two dressers one blocks the view while the other helps dress her and put the fin on.
At 6:25, you can see her getting onto the barge.
11:45 the Neverland gang is back. I am so happy that they are back especially Captain Hook he’s my favorite pirate, captain and my second favorite Disney villain and Peter Pan is my second favorite Disney movie.
I am too! I love Peter Pan!!! And Captain Hook was so funny! You'll have to see it from this spot again now that it's Peter Pan!

too bad they don’t light the torches on the barges anymore i wonder if it was a safety hazard so they stopped doing it 😢
@@Spacemountaineer92 oh my goodness I forgot they used to do that! Do you remember if they were still doing during its last run? The time with the dragon? Maleficent catching on fire really messed up a few things. 😏 We noticed too that since they started back up this time around, they have already removed some of the pyrotechnics. 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ So that's a bummer.

Hang out at the hungry bear between 6:30-7:30 and you’ll see all the performers and costume carts heading to the island. Also after the last show around 11:15 you’ll see them heading back to hungry bear
Oh thank you! So do you see the characters dressed? Or just the costume carts etc? Either way it's awesome.
@@CabFamilyAdventures performers are in all black and some carry wig boxes. Costumes arrive a little earlier in carts you can’t see any of the actual costumes just the costuming team pushing like 8 carts
where is mickey on the boat
So someone else mentioned that he goes away because at that point he is doing the ending part of Fantasmic. So they won't have 2 mickeys visibly out at the same time to keep the "magic"

I actually did some videos like this in the past when I was at Disneyland when the pirate section was still Pirates of the Caribbean.
Really!? Oh how amazing!!! I just heard of this spot opening night from a cast member! So it was perfect timing since I was near around the time of fantasmic starting so I decided to stop and wait!
@@CabFamilyAdventures usually when there’s no spots to watch Fantasmic usually I would actually like to look backstage and wave at the characters.
The only sucky thing is the backstage part. You don’t get to see Mickey because he’s away from the Mark twain doing his sorcerer part.

Now is this spot where you were filming was it open to the public could anyone watch there or was it only a few people
Yes! Totally open to the public! It's where you would normally get in line to ride the canoes just before hungry bear restaurant. However they are blocking off this entire section at the beginning of July to keep doing construction for Tianna etc. So the restaurant is going to be temporarily closed and the canoes will be temporarily closed. So I'm assuming this part will also be blocked off as well 😏
