The most hilarious aspect about Tata fan Bois is that they keep saying Tata service centres are the issue , how can a service centre repair badly manufactured vehicles? Tata has historically been known for badly manufactured cars, 5 star safety rating does not mean 5 star quality!!
@@NikhilSinghtherock i own a tata tiago and let me tell you i certainly am not happy. their main problem is the electronics. even on a small car like mine there are several electrical issues from abs light turning on when i hit a pothole to headlamps getting fused. i am planning to buy a more premium car and i certainly will not buy a tata

To be honest, if I were to be spend 30 lacs on a car, I definitely would not go with Tata. If im willing to spend 30 lacs, I atleast expect a peace of mind and not give a piece of mind.
Well said. Tata cars are average product being hyped by fan boys in the name of Mr. Ratan Tata. But he has nothing to do with these Cars being in the market now. Obviously he had tremendous role in shaping this company but he left working on passangers car segment long ago.
Man the DRL for safari & Harrier is bang on! I have seen so many with irregular color , or just with the brow off like you said. Man it sucks because I really wanna like these cars but idk why Tata can't figure it out.
A Tata Harrier owner here. And I agree with whatever they had to say. I’ve got rust on my car, a few Electrical issues but not major. Mainly my instrument cluster got damaged by the service Center and had no replacement provided. So I’ll suggest, once post warranty don’t even go to the service Center 🙏🏻
Perhaps you are very rich, and/or forgiving in nature, but I would absolutely qualify these issues as 'Major' if I paid 20+ Lakh for my car. Your instrument cluster was damaged by inept nicompoops who you are paying to maintain your car, and not only have they damaged it, but have not provided you with any replacement. This is exactly why I am going to keep Tata cars at an orangutan's arm's length.
Bro, what would you expect in 1 month? For a good family car it has to be niggle free for at least 5 years or 1 lakh km. Tata is the worst in this category
@subramanip8434 EVs dnt have issues other than software bugs. It seems Tata has solved most of the software issues on its Curvv EV. Unlike an ICE car there wnt be any issues for the main components of an EV.
The Safari and the Harrier DRLs feel a lot thinner to me. Like when compared to the size of the vehiles they are on the LED DRLs should have been a bit more wide, more thicker which would make them more brighter and more usable.
Actually, out of 10 people 8 people face issues with Tata products, and those 2 people will never face issues and will be reliable, and this is the truth
2:32 You can clearly see he is intentionally touching on the wrong spot. The toggle button is way more bottom left. I get it - Tata cars have a lots of issues from the factory itself, but why defame them intentionally dude?
@@abhinavdixit8288 Nope, it isn't parallax. You can verify it - watch it is 0.25x and look at the reflection of his finger on the screen itself. I don't get why Motorinc purposefully defames Tata to this extent?
Look man, just because the clip isn't showing it doesn't mean you need to pixel peep and call it intentional. I mean, imagine having to shut down your car and restart it to unlock it. Is this how evs should be? That everything should be based on software? That is quality to you? Sure that's not just tata, but this isn't acceptable even for others, and tata sits pretty low when it comes to quality. We all love critising suzukis, but has tata not been in this business since over 2 decades now? And they still have the same terrible quality and service issues? Is that not intentional? To not streamline the areas which matter and use stuff like safety, an important but equally convenient tool that'll make majority push every problem with tata to the side in the name of mitigating fear? Why should I appreciate them for doing that? Because tata is by default a "good" company? (Just fyi, I'm not trying to criticise you, I'm just asking you why you think that the assumptions you're using when you said what you said are correct?)
@@darktitan8085you literally stole my intended reply, and added more to it 👍 completely agree with you on everything you have said. Tata is moving too far, too fast and clearly, no one in this company seems to have heard of the adage, "Look before you leap".
Have noticed the inconsistencies in the drl. And it is not upto hyundai standards. I have a 2022 Nexon, which have glitches on indicators, sunroof, which magically sorts itself sometimes and sometimes not. But I like the bulletproof suspension and handling, that gives us great confidence. Waiting for the time Tata will launch a car that people could say awesome in all aspect.
This lock-unlock thing happened with me during TD at showroom. The SA was smart, he told me the key fob is for some other car and he would bring the car home😅😂
3:17 Shumi's expression is spot on. Brands will give all the features/information in the world that we don't even need, but can't put up with memory saved setting for ADAS which btw again is not a must need in vehicles.
Bought the Tata Curvv EV 2.5 months back. Except the DRL issue, the car has been issue free. Have done 7200 Km already and the car is a delight. Range also is as expected. The rear leg room isn't great but that was known
I have curvv creative.. it's a good car to buy ..avg is good only if you drive sensibly! Comfort.. suspension... handling is good! However compared to segment, engine feels bit slow ...but that thing is compensated by price difference and features offered in the segment!
Tata cant make good cars. They paid their designers and marketers well but tata auto is the worst tata venture by far. Only a month ago i saw a curvv with one side tail light not working. 3:02
I literally see cars from every brand having DRL /lights issues 😂 Meanwhile my 2020 altroz and 2021 nexon didn't face any such issue in last 3-4 years of ownership
Tata cars are bad to be owned as private luxury vehicles. They are good as a Tata Sumo to ferry villagers like one sees in rural areas. Nothing more than that. Nothing against Indian brands , it is not class. There are many good Indian brands in motorcycles, which have been successful here and in Africa and South America. So yes, Indians do produce good stuff, but TATA somehow deceives in their cars atleast. I realised it from their Indica days.
True. But , the over patriotism from some group and blind love is also the main reason. Tata makes poor car and the tata car buyers are not ready to give positive criticism which will force the brand to make better product . Tata honestly needs full revamp for their car division - Designers ,Engine department engineers /testers , software engineers ,etc.
I thank Motorinc (and every other auto journalist channel, who do the same) for giving their true unfiltered opinion. Brands take advantage of our patriotism to not work on their quality control at all. We have seen this with Ola and we have seen this with Tata, time and again. Very poor QC overall. What do I care how big Tata and Ola grow to be? Do I get a share in their profits? Nope (unless I hold a significant chunk of their stocks). But if I buy a product from them, I am paying for a finished product, not a beta test or an experimental product. High time these brands reduce the high number of useless features and focus on the quality of the features that they are actually providing to the consumers.
Bought curvv diesel and apart from a funky sounding tweeter everything else is amazing. The suspension is amazing. The engine is powerful and no vibrations in cabin. The steering and ac is phenomenal. The clutch is Featherlite and smooth. The seat comfort and boot space is unmatched.
Hi , im using nexon ev max for the past 22 months. Recently my battery behaves abnormally in the below 17 percent soc. Tata spare part quality is a big issue. I have been using Tata Tigor since 2018 and every six months I keep on changing some or other spare parts. Dealing with Service center is a biggest nightmare. They won't treat you good, give false promises and assurances. Service quality issues are normal.
We had a Tata Indigo eCS few years after its launch. Had it for 7-8 years, saw the car in the garage too often 🤡. I am not so mad about the car breaking but furious with the attitude of after sales service. Any breakage is the norm for them which happens with any car, since it’s a machine it will break so so frequently. From then onwards I have categorically excluded tata from suggestions my friends or relatives ask me while deciding for a car. Hardly care for a 5star rating. It is impossible that all the time one drives at a controlled 65kmph speed and if they collide they do it with only a vehicle of the same weight category. It’s BS, I would rather improve my driving than relying on passive safety to save me.
