Quite an interesting museum. As a sidenote I wrote to Fred Rogers in 1987 and I asked about his red sweater and he wrote me a nice letter (which he signed) in which he talked about his mother knitting him those sweaters. One of those original sweaters is now in the Smithsonian institution. I treasure that letter.”Museum fan!”
"Museum Fan!" A lot of interesting exhibits. In the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, they have the piece of turf from Three Rivers Stadium where Franco caught the ball.
"Museum Fan" Never have been much of a sports fan, my thing has always been music. You sure do have a lot to be proud of though. Pretty neat museum, and as always, interesting video.
Great video from Pittsburgh! I love the look on your face as you were talking about Mr. Rogers. I think I had the same look as I was watching. :) I am a podcast, Instagram, youtube, and Museum Fan!!!!
"Museum Fan!" It's a shame that Heinz has no real presence left in Pittsburgh. The plant on the north side closed 2 years ago and is now being renovated for luxury apartments...although the big ketchup bottle is still on the building. They have a divisional headquarters at PPG place but I guess it may be ceremonial only since Kraft owns them now and the ketchup is made in Ohio. Great video tho...as always!
The Steelers were actually the first team to have Cheerleaders...also Pro football started in Penn Hills, PA (there is a roster at the Pro-Football Hall of Fame).

At 9:23 in the background Pirates #21. Perhaps the greatest Puerto Rican baseball player, Roberto Clemente.
Cheers y'all.
Absolutely. There is a statue to him in from of the baseball park in Pittsburgh too.

That is awesome. How cool is that to have a letter from him. :)
I grew up in the 1970s with Mr. Rogers.
Museum fan also.
Awesome. 🤘🥰
Museum Fan! We all enjoyed visiting this museum.

Thank you. Yes I love music too, especially Bret Michaels. I do a video from his home town. 🤘

Oh thank you!
Pretty gutsy chanting “we are Penn State” in Pittsburgh; really enjoy the casual approach you use in your videos. Also, enjoy seeing your family.
Thank you for watching. I have to honor Penn State no matter where or when. ♥️

"Museum Fan!" What a fun place to visit! Not being from that area of the country, I never even knew this museum existed.
That’s one of the fun things about history (and this channel)…we get to highlight things people may not know about. 😁 thank you for watching!
Museum Fan
That is interesting about Strong Vincent. I am currently reading a book about him right now
😊
Museum Fan. Lived there for 3 years in early 70’s. Nice city but didn’t work for a Philly Boy. Going thee next weekend for my son’s wedding.
Congratulations! It has cleaned up a bit since you lived there last. 😉
Museum Fan!
Thank you for watching. Welcome to the Walk with History family.

That is interesting considering that they don’t have cheerleaders now!! :)
Mr .Rogers was in the military❤
that's right!
You look just like this girl I used to curl with!!!
She must be pretty awesome. :)
She was awesome but I heard she broke up the band...😁. Enjoyed your walk. Keep up the awesome work.
