They are receiving the honor they deserve. BTW....Miss Janet, the Liberator was a B-24,Not the B-29 If these heros were found in New Gunea...it's likely they were crew of a B-29 Superfortress..
Yup! We misspoke and corrected ourselves in the video description. Thank you for watching! 😁
He’s from Indiana, Pennsylvania
Yes he is! We have an early full video from there. 😁
Her claim to fame was married to micheal jackson.
I can't believe they're allowing Priscilla to be buried there😮
Sir yes sir
Thanks for watching! 😁
At least she is with her dad and son...
I hope I never have to visit California, the people there are insane.
GOD REST THE SOULS OF EACH AND EVERYONE OF THESE BRAVE PATRIOTS 🇺🇸✝️
I Love the Presleys ...❤❤❤..R.I.P ..To Lisa's Girls ...hope you carry on ...and be Happy in Life ...do what you want in Life and succeed ...and be proud .
The John Wayne 1969 version of True Grit is with out any doubt in my mind is the best I remember going to the Drive In and watching the movie with my family.
How fun! We love that version 😊
❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful grave yard
As an Australian I have been to Arlington cemetery I found that moving and interesting . I have never heard of this cemetery but the history of those there is very interesting . History and those in that cemetery still resonate today . The grave of Julius Campbell of remember the Titans fame was really interesting ,great movie shows us what we can do together when we put aside our prejudices . Great video thoroughly enjoyed it .
Ricky ♥️
There's been a talk of them for closing or selling Graceland what are they going to do with the graves if that happens
Not sure…but last I heard the sale talks were actually fraudulent
I live in Memphis I love going to the Orpheum to see shows
Such a great spot 😊
Love you mlk and hope you have good days ahead of us in your life and so as your wife and wishes to love you 😘
Dora's stint as a B-29 instructor is just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to her achivments.
That’s for sure! We want to make a while video on her if we can
Touching
the real heroes....not lovers or suckers
Last Tour?!?! 🤪😜 Way cool 😎 Thanks!
😁
Riposate in pace
My father's ashes are out there somewhere.... A biker group took him a few years ago. Never got to visit it thank those folks
🙏🏻
This is an embarrassingly bad video about this event. This is not even a first year college level video. The guy saying Hinkley was “Captured” and his lack of awareness of key well known facts…. It’s astonishingly bad.
Thanks for watching 😊
Just found your channel, I am loving it. especially Veterans Day in Arlington | Honoring Marines, it brought me to tears and i am not a American i live Brisbane Qld Australia i have all ways been sparred USMC and the high stranded they set for themselves and thank you for your service this needs to be said around the world to all military services if was for Popole like you we would not have the freedmen we have all tne best for down under AUS
Thank you so much! Your kind words mean a lot and we are happy to be able to honor these heroes.
Thank you for your service. Well done, Missy. Throw a nickel on the grass for our fighter pilots. No pennies, please.
😊🙏🏻
what about Audie Murphy?
Check out our first Arlington video 😉 Movie Stars at Arlington and other Famous Historical Figures th-cam.com/video/vfXOrzZxbcs/w-d-xo.html
The presence of the carcass of Edmund Kennedy taints that sacred ground. His carcass should be removed.
I lived in eastern New Mexico most of my adult life. In that area there were 2 old WW2 army air corps training bases. At both the pilots were trained by women.Ihad the pleasure of getting to know several of them.Forgotten heros IMHO
How cool! Definitely heroes that should be better known.
Smart girl, no doubt!
That’s right!
Great story. She must have had great strength to do that at the time.
She was amazing. Went on to continue to do great things!
You should check out Paul Lawrence Dunbar. He was the first African American poet/writer. He’s life is interesting.
Thank you for your service. God bless you
Much appreciated
Wisconsin is in much better shape then the Iowa. Thanks to visitors for supporting her.
She is in fantastic shape! Definitely worth a visit.
I loved his actting
Arguably, the largest (and slowest) single act of vandalism ever seen.
How do you figure? The people to whom the land belonged to commissioned the work.
@@WalkwithHistory The hills are considered sacred and there's a large number of natives that are very much against this. Crazy horse would not allow his photo to be taken and likely would have been appalled by this.
@@cyberpleb2472 Interesting. I wonder why the natives that owned the land didn't think that way?
@@WalkwithHistory The land was considered sacred long before natives were introduced to the concept of land ownership. The Lakota chief that commissioned the work did so without consultation with Crazy Horse's descendants and without full approval from his constituents. When it comes to morality though, I think Mount Rushmore is worse.
Bridges version sucked big time. Nothing authentic about it.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful tour of ANC. I've been there many times but was unaware of many of those you mentioned. Love U.S. history!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching and welcome to the community 😊
I have been there 2 times. Ernest Ball is there as well, he wrote when Irish eyes are smiling. There is a lot to see between Pennsylvania and Ohio
How neat! Yes so much to see indeed! 😊
How neat! Yes so much to see indeed! 😊
@WalkwithHistory did you know there are confederate graves in Ohio?
@@jamiedougherty29 wouldn't surprise me at all. There are confederate graves in lots of unexpected places!
Thank you for this.
🙏🏻
This is not accurate…. Highest ranked ACTOR in the Military was Ronald Reagan .. President-is commander in chief of all military forces……. Personally i like Gen Stuart better… but facts are facts
The President is still a civilian, even as the Commander in Chief. The President does not swear in or commission in to the military. Thanks for watching! 😊
Plank owner MM3 Doug Byrne I served onboard in #2 engine room, great ship and made a lot of friends. We were 1st ones on and last ones off.
How cool! Yes I remember how hard the engineers on my ship worked. 😊
Decades a go I met an old man from Southside Jefferson Ave, lived there all his life. Said as a Young boy his father walked off to work via Kingsbury Run and never returned. The police when called told his mother he must of ran off tho she believed otherwise. 60 yrs later the old man still believed his dad was one of the victims.
Woah! That’s quite a story.
yo ho! Now for that bottle of rum. Great video. Still love your hat. Coming from metro-Detroit, you need a warm hat. I use knit pull-overs. Strictly as note of interest, someone did a 2-part mini-series called Blackbird, Accuracy was maybe 2 to 5%. Was well acted with a very young Jessica Chastain, Richard Chamberlin (the king of the miniseries) and the actor who played Robert Bruce in Braveheart. First time I knew Ocracoke was in the West Indies. Fun still.
I may have to look that up…out of curiosity mostly. 😂
Didnt they move his mama also bc shes in graceland where elvis , his dad , Lisa Maria and her son is ?
Yes they did. She is buried just next to him. 😊
Audie Murphy. What a hero. Courageous and honorable. ❤
🙏🏻
It will never be finished
Zoinks. One of the Outer Banks mostenduring mysteries only surpassed bythe lost colony. I've watched your work for 5-6 months. I quickly found out what I liked about them: fresh, tasteful, respectful and informative. I just figured out the why. You are having fun and act like it. You are energetic and even when your kids are in them they are having fun. Story is an integral part of hiSTORY and you make sure it is displayed.
That is the most beautiful compliment!!! Thank you so much. I read it to Scott and we both agree that you saw exactly what we are trying to do. We truly appreciate you and your support!!!!
Charles Durning was also was a voice actor for a lot of Ken Burns documentaries. Durning was a amazing actor
He was indeed 😊
