Pittsburgh is incredibly underrated. I will be going again in November to see my beloved Steelers. I love the culture, history, food and people.

The National Pike Festival was taking place that weekend on Route 40 when you passed through Brownsville, Centerville and Senery Hill, PA. It is a three day festival that takes place the third weekend of May every year that celebrates the Nation Road and it's historical significance.

I've lived within 30 minutes of here my entire life and watching this makes me feel like I've neglected how truly historically important this area is. It is crazy I have been watching you for years and got to see you cross a bridge I travel across every day of my life practically :p

Robert, I realize with each of your video's output that you have to narrate a lot of information as you go from one place to another. The combination of videography, sound, music, and much more, you are your own production company and I love the music that accompanies each section of the video. And I just enjoy the whole thing in a matter of minutes? Thanks Robert much appreciated all the work you put into bringing the whole of America for all to enjoy and appreciate its roots and sights. It gives a rewed look and understanding what a great country it is even withing its ups and downs in the history that was created. And here we are making the most of it all. Cheers.

It never gets old to take the Pitt Tunnel driving thru the beautiful mountains ⛰ and suddenly exiting to the heart of Pittsburgh the city made of steel...awesome to be able to see the places where the US 🇺🇸 history took place...these videos are not only fun, but very educational...still remember the old Westinghouse days in Pittsburgh...

I grew up in W Pa, about 30 miles south of Pgh, right off I 70. My dad loved driving 40 on our way to the beach in the summer but vetoed it most of the time. Took too much time.Great to see the scenery again

Growing up in Maryland we are very aware of the National Road. It's much older than route 66 but had its own roadside attractions most of which are long gone.

Cool video Robert! Early in my trucking career I had the pleasure of picking up a load downtown Pittsburgh, there was construction everywhere and I was lost, this was before GPS and cell phones and I unfortunately hit the side of one of those green port authority buses while making a turn lol..what a day that was! I see they have red ones now too.

Thank you, Robert. A new beginning! Love your videos. The quality is so good and I learn so much. You can see why Pittsburg was called a steel city: Those bridges are a bit rusty, but thank you for taking us under one of them. What an archetectual acheivement. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity to see the museum. Pittsburg should be a bucket-list city to visit for sure.

My husband grew up close to there, Connellsville. I love that area and I feel very loved ( by his cousins ) and comfortable there. I wouldn't mind snow birding ( Florida in winter ) from there in the summer.

What's that tower structure on 2:48? Looks amazing! Not a big fan of "Hiking in the valley" theme though, I find it somewhat disturbing, lol, but that's your work and I respect that. I wish you put "Foothills" theme in each video (although, I think you already do, for that matter :) ). Have a good one, Robert.

Lived in Uniontown my entire life, not much to do but I would recommend checking out Ohio Pyle State Park and check out The National Pike, where there are wagons and people on horses and a huge festival all along RT 40 , it is pretty cool. And a great camping ground is Bennergers camp ground, it's a pretty nice place and in Chalk Hill not sure if they are still open but on Fayette Springs Rd there is a winery and gift shop and the wine is fantastic, they did have a second store right along RT 40, I just can't remember where, since we moved from there back in 2016 to Palm Bay Florida, but Pittsburgh is pretty cool.

And we're off! What grand adventures await on the Lewis & Clark trail? Even though we sort of know what's going to happen, watching this episode still gives me the sense of expectation that goes with the beginning of a big road trip. The National Turnpike looks like a nice drive through all those small towns. The yard sales are a regular thing on that route--they have a big event in the beginning of June. I had to laugh as you were driving out of the campground and noted the model number of your neighbor's rig, "a regular 2108DS, actually...that's the twin bed version" . Until next time, happy trails!
