We live in Chattanooga, Tenn., and visit Atlanta often. Well, we used to. After visiting Pittsburgh, all we could think of is, why would anyone have a convention in Atlanta if they could go to Pittsburgh? Atlanta, as a city, is nothing compared to Pittsburgh. I just started watching this post and I am loving this so far. Of course, I tend to love everything you do. I am from Upstate NY and currently live in NC. As a transplanted Pittsburgher living in SWFL i have to say this video is absolutely awesome....wonderful, wonderful job. Pittsburgh really is the hidden gem city of the United States as it does not get the publicity as so many other cities. As beautiful as the city is though, its the people and their welcoming and friendly attitude towards everyone that make it such a great place. All of western Pennsylvania is truly a paradise to behold with its mountains, hills, and rivers, not to mention all of the greenery that you will see. Thank you for this video of my old home and my roots, 30 years in SWFL hasnt been long enough for me to say or feel as though im from here. I will always be a YINZER.
@@taylorhickman84thats true... In the late 1800s and early 1900s there was no other city that generated more money than Pittsburgh because of the steel, coal, and glass industries. Andrew Carnegie, H.J. Heinz, George Westinghouse, Andrew Mellon, Henry Clay Frick, Stephen Foster, Charles Schwab among others called Pittsburgh home.
Although it's not an easy city to navigate especially for outsiders and traffic can be a nightmare getting in and out of the city, it's home. Thank you for show casing our beautiful city!

I bet a lot of people are like you. They never even thought of Pittsburgh. But I’ve live here my whole life. I’m telling you Pittsburgh is the hidden gem of America. It’s not perfect. It has all the problems any city has. But it’s a great place to live. It’s the coolest city to just drive around. All the hills, bridges, tunnels, and the city steps. The city steps are my favorite. There’s over 700 sets of public steps in Pittsburgh. And I just think they are cool.
It was hilarious when you keep saying Acrisure stadium just to annoy us Steelers fans 😂 awesome video, learned more about Pittsburgh even though I’ve already watch multiple videos of Pittsburgh in TH-cam. Going for my first time to Pittsburgh in September for a Steelers game and can’t wait to tour the city as well
Though I'm a SW Florida resident for quite some time now, I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. In fact I lived most of the first 45 years of my life there. You did an outstanding job with this video, Randy. Hats off! Oh...one thing, if you call Maz, Joe in front of a Pittsburgher, you just might have to "drop the gloves"! Haha! God Bless.
I live in Ky. now. But grew up in Pgh. in the 60's and 70's. Still have a sister and her family living there. This was a great video! Pgh. has come along way since the steel mills! However, the winters there I could not deal with being 62! Loved snow as a child, but not now!
@@TampaAerialMedia Haha! No sweat! Part of the outfield wall of Forbes Field is still standing...ivy, flag pole and all. The rest of the left field wall is outlined in brick in the sidewalk. There's a plaque in the sidewalk where Maz's homerun cleared the wall in '60. Saw one game at Forbes...the second to last day that the park was open. Dock Ellis (PIT) beat Fergie Jenkins (CHI) 2 to 1. Two complete games...don't see that anymore! Keep up the great work!
Inspiring capture of my hometown! Lived there til age 17 , and seeing what it looks like now made me want to go back. It was a great place to grow up, memories of my parents taking us to the Phipps conservatory, the zoo, natural history museum. My sister and mom attended Pitt. Our grandparents operated the Terminal restaurant before retiring in the 1950's. Fine dining in the Burgh!

Visiting this city in few days, I will submit my impression afterward. I can't wait! to see Pittsburgh:)
Thankyou for the nice words, greart to hear from aYinzer
I love the history of Pittsburgh. I read that at one point it was the richest city in the world.
Great thing about the burgh. You can always come home
True
It's a square. All cities are square
Best video! We love Pitt and the Steelers! Go to alot of games 6 hour drive from Mt Pleasant MI worth the drive!
Dude, you are better than Aerial America !

Pittsburgh is underrated, keep an open mind, it’s worth seeing!
I agree
Will be going to the university of pittsburgh for the first time this fall. Had seen the city before but this makes me even more excited. Your videos are also amazing!
Thankyou, you should be excited, nice campus, right next to Schenley Park.
We moved to the area from New Hampshire a year ago. It's very affordable and most people are nice and friendly.
I totally agree!
It is best video about Pittsburgh that I have watched.
Thankyou for the nice words
Its Pittsburgh. There’s an H at the end.
I have never in àll my years seen such a beautiful downtown
I agree with you James

Pittsburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in America!
I love my hometown! The food is incredible, the people are friendly and there is so much to do in any season! Thank you for this beautiful video of home🖤💛❤
You are welcome, great to hear from a Pittsburger
Fantastic video. I never really thought about this city, and learned so much. Beautifully filmed and edited too. Great job!
Thankyou Suzie
I bet a lot of people are like you. They never even thought of Pittsburgh. But I’ve live here my whole life. I’m telling you Pittsburgh is the hidden gem of America. It’s not perfect. It has all the problems any city has. But it’s a great place to live. It’s the coolest city to just drive around. All the hills, bridges, tunnels, and the city steps. The city steps are my favorite. There’s over 700 sets of public steps in Pittsburgh. And I just think they are cool.
Amazing video and commentary. Paints a great and true picture of our city.
Thankyou for the feedback, I appreciate that
It was hilarious when you keep saying Acrisure stadium just to annoy us Steelers fans 😂 awesome video, learned more about Pittsburgh even though I’ve already watch multiple videos of Pittsburgh in TH-cam. Going for my first time to Pittsburgh in September for a Steelers game and can’t wait to tour the city as well
Yep, I feel the pain of Steeler fans
😀
Great video. Would love you see do Buffalo, NY. Another rust belt city going through a renaissance
Maybe one day
Wow. A big thank you to you and Bella for taking us along on this beautiful trip. Great information too.
You are welcome
Yea my apologies about Bill.
@@greg2976 I hear ya on the winter weather Greg. The older I got, the less i could tolerate it!
Thanks for another great video! Blessings to you and Bella 🥰
Thankyou R G2
Very nice, informative video,Randy, you definitely did your homework!
Thankyou will and for joining the premiere
Inspiring capture of my hometown! Lived there til age 17 , and seeing what it looks like now made me want to go back. It was a great place to grow up, memories of my parents taking us to the Phipps conservatory, the zoo, natural history museum. My sister and mom attended Pitt. Our grandparents operated the Terminal restaurant before retiring in the 1950's. Fine dining in the Burgh!
Thinking about moving there, please any infos about this city will be helpful. Thx
Another great video. You are very good at making videos with great information
Thankyou Kevin
This photage was phenominal! The editing was outstanding. I am so impressed!
Thankyou Kimberly
I have watched your videos since pandemic back in 2020. Good content as always.
Thankyou Michael
Great city!!!
Great video of my favorite city!!!
Amazing video. As a resident of Tampa now, Pittsburgh will always be ‘home’ to me. You captured so many of the things that fascinate me as an adult more so than when I was a kid. It’s truly a town that once you expedience you truly appreciate. 💛🖤
Thankyoy Jack for the nice words
