This is from our website, "The Origin of Our Name In our search for a name for our TH-cam channel we considered what makes a good name. We wanted something catchy that also represented us. When Gareth was younger he had a couple of pet Spider Monkeys, HeShe and Mona. His parents used to call him a little monkey also. It turns out that Janet's parents also referred to her, and her 10 siblings, as little monkeys on occasion. Put that together with our love of ports and cruising and Port Monkeys was born.
