We went to Frog & Onion Pub and it was Fantastic! My Son and I both enjoyed it! He said the Fish and Chips was the best he ever had! Going back this September. Can't wait!
Great tour! You missed Dockyard Pasrty Shop that has great coffee & homemade pastries. Also The Rum Barrel is where you can purchase duty free - there is a cut off time and that is usually 3 hrs before the ship leaves but I usually tell people to order it the first day you arrive. Unfortunately the Transport Museum is closed and ScooterMart is in its place. Oleander Cycles now rent electric cars which is a bit safer than scooters.
You missed the number 1 spot in the Dockyard.... the Frog & Onion Pub. It's Bermuda's only brewery, and the food is out of this world! Even some British friends have said it's the best fish & chips they've ever had. They also have live music most days.
@@ByteSizeCruises yes we were at the Dockyard last week on Royal Caribbean and ate at the Frog & Onion pub very good. Didn't have the fish & chips but another friend said they were excellent as well. Also went to Bone Fish pretty good. Otherwise ate on the ship. Weather was rainy the 2 days we were there and had been to Hamilton & St George before on a smaller ship (Oceania).
Hey there. So a few things. They do have a little beach there that you can walk to. It is like 15-20 bucks per person for the day and since it's close you can easily get the kids there and they have a bunch of fun things within that area. Also, they have the obstacle course that the 12 year old would like, but the 2 yo is too young for but that is $40 a day I think as well.
Hi. Nice video. I have a cruise to Bermuda booked in April 2024 from Boston. I'm worried now because you said April is not a good time to go. Can you tell me why that is?
You will have a great time. It’s just early in the season so it can still be cold or chilly. The weather is similar to South Carolina. But if you are from Boston it will be balmy lol
You mentioned a beach if you follow the green feet? What beach is that? Can you walk to horseshoe bay? I’m trying to get ready for July I’ve never been there before
It's just a small beach and play area at the port. Horseshoe bay is around 30 min away so you would need to take a taxi or public transport to get there.
Why do all these video guides call scooters mopeds? They are not mopeds. A moped is a motorized bike that you can pedal or ride with the motor. A scooter has no pedals.
Well....now we know lol. Although, just found this on the internet, because everything we read is always correct lol What is a Moped? Mopeds were traditionally equipped with pedals and the name itself is an amalgamation of motor and pedal. Now though, they don’t come with pedals and they are instead defined by their engine size, speed and output.

We LOVED The Frog!!
Great job Jon. I'll have to look your company up.
Be sure to visit the Rego Art Gallery. They have some awesome items.
thank you
Thank you for your video. Do you have any recommendations on things I can do with my children (ages 12 and 2)?

You mentioned the NCL ferry would take other passengers? I just wanted to confirm I heard that correctly!
It’s technically not an NCL ferry. It’s a dockyard ferry. So yeah for that one it takes all the lines. There is also the actual town ferry as well.
@@ByteSizeCruises Thank you !

Does NCL have their own ferry that takes you to Hamilton
I don’t think it’s NCL specific.
Bermuda covid restrictions. You must wear a mask for 20 feet going thru that garage size customs office at the dock. Lmao. Was there 8 /1 22
You are not wrong
The NCL will take Royal CARIBBEAN passengers to St George??
No - it belongs to NCL
There is a schedule for public ferries. Which date are you coming?
Is this the ONLY Bermuda video you've made? You stated in the video that you'd be posting more.
I’ll check. I know we have done a few
Why not April, temps in the 70's??
Throw back to a bad cruise we had with bad weather and it was in the 50s. Just not optimal
@@ByteSizeCruises under stood, you never know what the weather will be
I am traveling to Bermuda, can someone help me find a job?
ممكن الطريقة اللي حجزت بيها للجزيرة من فضلك
How did it go
Of roya
It doesn't look Senior friendly, I hope we didn't make a mistake booking Bermuda.
Definitely senior friendly and there is a little shuttle bus that stops all along the port there. do not worry at all. You will have a great time!
