Warrick Dunn - 2nd to none! Not only is he a great football player, he is an even better human being........gives back to the community and has over come many obsticles in his life.
Easily the most highly respected and heralded Seminole ever. This is coming from a 'Cane fan for life. I loved watching #28 juke guys out of their socks. Fantastic person.
He has helped alot. A weakness at FSU the last few seasons has been the offensive line. Now even the media who hates FSU is saying we will have one of the best O-lines in the country. He's also quick to let a player know when he's made a mistake. As much as I like Bobby you never saw him explode and get in a players face. It looks like the new coaching staff is alot better in letting a player know when he screws up and to make sure it does't happen again. And that's key to having a winning team.
i gotta give a canes fan props for looking beyond the FSU/MIAMI war and recognizing talent. dunn was that deal. As a noles fan there are plenty of canes who were and still great. K2 was the one of the ones who made me realize this. kellen2 was a baller for the canes. i know he aint the only one. i honestly dont have a beef with the canes and gators except for one week a year. who i really dislike is USC and ND!
Alotta that is good blocking but he did a good bit by himself. His speed allowed him to correct mistakes by the line; good RBs can do that. Homeboy was incredible.
I would say he's a figure head but his presence is still felt. Bobby may not be what he used to but he's still one of the greatest coaches of all time. And even you have to admit that.
Thats true. And considering how little talent Jimbo had to begin with and he has already improved our running game dramatically. Now all we need id Ponder to step it up and we could have a top 10 team for sure.
He didnt win the Heisman because we limited him to 15 or so touches a game unless it was a big game so he didnt get worn down. He never had great total yards or TDs, but he had a great YPC every year and I dont think many people doubt he was one of the best players in the country his soph, jr and sr years. Great vid.
LOL geeez louise...he runs into a crowd of like 8 guys and then all the sudden...BOOOM!! he comes sprintin out of it like "how the hell did he do THAT" he was fun to watch for sure.
Yeah, I really think we would be in the top ten all the time like we used to if it wasnt for bobby putting his son as our Offensive coordinator. He ran our offense into the ground and destroyed our run game while we had a weak pass game with Rix. Then because we had poor offense we had poor recruiting and got Weatherford who was pretty crappy. Now Jimbo did impress me this season more than i expected. However Bobby still gets credit when Jimbo is the one doing most of the work.
Bobby has a legacy no one can match. He used to set the standard for NCAA greatness. However after 2001 we have gone down and down. Hes fallen down a slippery slope with letting players getting into trouble and doing nothing. He's been bad at recruiting. Hes getting old hes no longer what he was. He turned FSU around from one of the longest losing streaks to a top NCAA competitor. Then he made us two time champions and got us close several times. Hes just old now and lost it.
Well that happens in college football. Teams go on slides. Tennessee, Michigan, Miami, etc. its just not right though to blame it on the man who put us where we are. Should Bobby get some of the blame? Hell yes, he's the head coach but right now Jimbo is slowly but surely gaining power and we had the best season in 3 years and a top 10 recruiting class. I'd say thing look bright.
Everyone who goes to FSU says he runs the show. He calls the shots. Not jimbo or Mickey Andrews. And Jimbo did have a nice Offense in LSU. You should know.
Everyone thats been at FSU and acualy knows anything at all. Knows Bobby handed over most head coaching over to Jimbo. Bobby was forced to name a succesor and hes now nothing more than a figure head. Hes not what he used to be face it.

My favorite player of all time. A wonderful human being.
Damn! I forgot how sick Warrick Dunn was when he was still at FSU. He had a damn good NFL career too
My favourite college football player of all time. The toughest football player I have ever seen!
don't know what you got until it's gone. rare talent.

we actually had good plays back then, its been a while since i've seen the HB direct

Warrick proved you didn't need blazing speed to be a great RB!
I just started playing tackle football and I am running back and after watching this video I decided I was going to be just like Warrick Dunn
look forward to seeing you at Doak Campell.

Give Jimbo 2 more years of the recruiting he's brought us and we'll be a GREAT team.
Damn nice prediction! The 2013 team was GREAT and every starter went to the NFL

its my understanding he gave more than half his earnings to charities

Great video. Perfect song. I'm pretty sure thats Ray Lewis Warrick shrugs off at 1:13.
He make it look easy
A man among men.
The person that helped us the most i think is Rick Trickett
Everyone who goes to FSU says he runs the show. He calls the shots. Not jimbo or Mickey Andrews. And Jimbo did have a nice Offense in LSU. You should know.
Eh we need some more recruiting before top ten. Our pass game is hurt with Carr and Parker gone. However i think we are coming back.
Is that Ronde Barber that got juked to the ground at 4:45 ?
does anyone have copies of fsu games from the 1993-94 seasons
I thought he didn't win the Heisman because Charlie Ward (his teammate) did!
Its him amp lee Dalvin and Greg Jones
Cant forget Greg Allen.
Hows so? Bobby doesnt even wear the head set anymore which means hes not even coaching during the game. Jimbo has little to no expierence.
warrick dunn just demolish miami
Because bobby doesnt even know hes at a football game and Jimbo isnt sure how to read a play book.
HAHAHAHA he didnt even have to juke anybody at some points defenders just fell on the ground anticipating getting juked.LOL
lol
