A lot of people that be doing these tutorials don't be getting in depth and be moving to fast. People that never used the SP404 will get lost with out a slow and and proper explanation how you use it 👍🏼
Hope this ticks the boxes 👍
Agreed son 😅 I be like wtfak u moving too fast .. like bro slow down ninja... we newbies
Just click the settings gear slow the mans voice down hahahaha. @@8thApostle
Just got one 2 days ago, i'd be lost without your videos. Thank you!
Welcome to the gang! Glad I could help 🙌
Your videos have been so extremely helpful to me so far. Thank you for your work. Greetings from Cologne / Germany
Glad to help! 🇩🇪 🙌
Thank you so much for this! I be studying these vids.
very useful tips! and i am so glad that you are doing SP-404 videos again. please keep it up!
Although my workflow is vastly different, I really appreciated seeing this and managed to learn something new from it, thanks a lot.
Good to hear! I think it’s always interesting seeing how others work. It’s cool to know that people use them in all different ways!
Just what I needed!
Glad to hear that 🙌
Just connected my MKII to the laptop/daw.. 🤯 been working with the MPC 1000 usb for awhile, a long overdue upgrade.
Good stuff! 👍🏽
Great video this, thanks. About a month into the SP journey and loving it so far.
Nice 🔥
this was so helpful for a newbie like me. thank you so much
🙌👊
Nice workflow and dope samples!👍
Thanks man. I’m hoping to do a release of all these beats soon 🤞
Great video. 👍🏽✌🏽
Thank you …i like what you have..i will give it a try
Thank you so much for this video sir!
Seen a few tutorials, and videos, and this one, I think it fits more to me. I am a guy who's thinking of getting an SP too.
I will copy a few steps from you and I will try to implement them. Have a nice day!
🙌🙌🙌
Mad helpful
Awesome video man really like your idea of have thr chops sey up like that
Thanks man, yeah that system has been working really well for me, even with samples that have drums!
You pretty much taught me how to use the mk2. Thanks for your time!!
Have ever used the midi clock out feature? Im running the sp into a boss looper with midi linked. I noticed the looper tends to stretch the recorded loop with certain samples even with bpm sync on all samps. Figured I'd ask you. You are extremely knowledgeable. Thanks in advance!
Glad to have helped. Unfortunately I have never even tried midi with this device! I need to lean and make some videos
What song was the vocal sample from? Great videos by the way.
I’m glad the samples just appeared on your sampler, prechopped and everything. Mine doesn’t have this feature 😉
So as I'm watching this video, my question is how do I program a pattern with drum pieces to make a nice kick/ snare/ hat beat to save on a pad and then play with the music sample pads to lay over them to make a song?
Pay ascap bmi sesac. That's how I keep the copyright police away
Where did you get the custom SP sticker ??
hello! what was the song you used for this?
you didn't say PEACE! ✌
Oh damn haha. ‘Peaaaaceeeee’ 😁🙌
I wish the sp had (play through) means play past slice points and slice beyond 16 chops
Hopefully that could come in a future update. Seen a lot of people wanting it
Can you load up projects/samples from external drive?
No you use the SD card which is basically a built in external drive if that makes sense...
love the sound of the sp never liked the workflow
Nice vid! I got a question on the mfx, I change some parameters and save it (with the remain mark holding) but now i dont like those paramaters and im looking to reset mfx parameters BUT without doing a factory reset on the machine, there is any solution for this issue? You are the king
Can you not just make adjustments and save again? I don’t see much advantage in ‘resetting’ them (not sure if you can either) - it’ll just be the same as having your own saved but different parameters?
@@spvidz understand, thanks for you response! The thing is that i messed up the parameters sounds awful and now i dont know how to set up for example the delay back to default
so basically create a beat with kick, snare, and high hats, with no effects really, and then chop up a sample, and add effects on the sample? but then how do you put it all together?
Patrern modę
I just recently got an MK2 and I see that it has sounds preloaded on it. Did you remove those from your machine and just load your own samples onto yours?
I deleted all mine yup
Can you do more videos about a whole song on koala and the p.o.
Planning a PO one soon and yeah I need to get back into koala again and continue the series I started 👍
and when I have 2 or 3 sequences how I made a track?
Pattern chain? Changing patterns by hand? Recording to the daw?
Would it be wise to delete all factory samples and start from fresh with your own samples
I always do with samplers. I like to find my own but its all personal taste. Do what you wanna do! ✌
I kept the original samples & patterns in project 1 and copied this to new projects deleting what I don't want for each. Training wheels still on!
You can save the factory sounds by exporting them to an already formatted SD card and then transfer them onto your computer... Never know when they'll be useful.
