Can I reuse this same water + sugar + dye? Or can you only do it once? It seems to me that all the material left in the pot is discarded afterwards. It seems to me very wasteful.
You can, i've done it before. Will probably only work once though and you may want to put a cover over whatever you're making it in so dust/whatever doesn't fall in.
