I couldn't resist the temptation to ride a lap or two on the Nordschleife in October. Back in 2016 I never rode on weekends because of heavy traffic, but at the end of this year, I had no choice. This was the first real lap of the day (starting with cold tires) after one sighting lap with 5 yellow sectors and track closed afterwards. You need some laps on the Nordschleife to get fast again, so not so fast this time, but smooth and fun :) I've tried the new view of the GoPro 11 called 'Hyperview' and I think the old 'Superview' fits better to onboard videos. What do you think about the view? Recorded in 5,3k 30 fps to try the best picture quality, but the ND8 filter made it too dark this time, so I brightened it up and lost some quality. Enjoy the onboard and if it's too slow to watch, check out my BTG 7:28 lap from 2016 :D Cheers!
@@bibhabbag1 Racebikes are not allowed on the Nordschleife, but I guess with enough laps and time with a racebike, sub 7 is possible for sure. I think real roadracer like Michael Dunlop could go 6:30 - 7:00 BTG after 50 free laps with a racebike

awesome as ever. Mahalo from Hawaii. I relive my youth through you. Single soldier back in the mid 90's owned a 1990 GSXR-750 while I was stationed in Colorado. Best riding years of my life. Now that I'm 50, married with kids on an island, there's no where to ride here with speed...safely. So now I just paddle canoes on a downwind for thrills!!! loving life! Ride safe, respect the road and never lose the love for 2 wheels.
What a show! I would like to recommend only one thing if possible, add trackside footage. some pure sound fly by, that would be really cool! great riding take care!
Most people that own a bike like this can’t get anywhere near the bikes capabilities. This rider abilities means he is able to use the entire bikes performance. Amazing to see.
I just love your penultimate corner going into the final corner, accelerating during the final corner and catapulting out of it into the straight, then accelerating off into the sunset! Very impressive to watch and delicious to listen to! Thank you.
The first video of you I have ever watched (popped up into my feed). Holy cow, you've got some serious riding skills. I'm highly impressed by your level of control and your decision making. Well done!

I'm so glad they repaved the track. By the looks of it, it is nice and smoother now with less bumps in a few sectors where I remember watching other videos and it was super bumpy. Great riding! Camera is great quality.
I would prefer to keep the bumps and hills. The difficulty of the track is the reason it's so much fun. The challenge gets easier every year with less bumps.
@@Murtanio I respect the hell out of that comment!!! Here in Houston, our local track is bumpy and not that great, but it is fun and you learn to adjust to the tracks conditions. I really enjoy your content and seeing your progression 👍
