Kevin..I watched about half a dozen videos on my new Feelworld F6 Plus monitor and my camera the Nikon D3400, after having no luck and 6 hours of frustration, after you told me you had to try multiple settings to get signal with your specific camera, I tried the same thing, and finally after the 4 setting, I got signal!!!!! Bless your heart for being so thorough. New Subscriber!
Yay! I had a problem with both the feelworld and the AndyCine on my camcorder and after mucking around with the settings the signal finally showed up. Glad it’s working for you!
I have a Nikon D3200 and a Feelworld F6 Plus on my way in the mail as we speak. I guess this might apply to me as well. Could you elaborate on what excactly you did to fix the issue? 😃
After many review watching hours, your review was by far more in-depth, and as a result I bought the Andycine A6Plus. When shooting 4K, my monitor works great, however when shooting 1080p, the monitor doesn't display in fullscreen and then image only takes up for of the monitor display. Any idea what to do to make 1080p recording fullscreen on the monitor?
Try switch the cam. For example, on my 5D Mark III, I have an info button that goes through full screem then with meter setting,s, then with histograms, etc., etc.
Hey! I just tried the F6 plus on my Canon M50 Mark II but I don’t have access to the camera settings on the monitor (such as dual pixal autofocus, ISO, f/ etc … all the Q menu basically) Fonctions I usually can access with the touch screen on my camera. Is there something I can do? Thanks !
Could be late but in case you don’t know, they are actually both made by the same company and are meant to be exactly the same. Even their previous monitors like the andycine a6 (without the plus) and the feelworld f6 are the same. Same for each and every monitor they make. SOLVED - @15:00 in video. I had the same problem of no signal from my Canon XA50 to the Andycine A6 (v2 with USB-C port) except at 60 fps. When I changed the HDMI Max Resolution to 1280x720 in the camera menu, the display now works at all fps speeds, all resolutions, and all file choices. Can't really tell a difference on the monitor screen.

A tip. 1080i 59.94 out on canon wraps signal at 1080 29.97 progressive. I use atomos recorder for canan g30 and this is how you can bypass your monitor issue. In menu hdmi output set it to 59.94i on canon 2:2 pulldown. Not 3:2.. This does not effect recording on your dual sd cards...... Yes, I just checked. It might be some setting in your camera? I use a Canon. The display shows whatever my back screen on the camera shows, including playback.
@@SeaShelvesProductions Thanks for letting me know. I would think it's a.) A monitor setting or b.) a camera setting. I would start and make sure you take something neutral, like 30 FPS and 60 shutter, make sure it's set to send HDMI. Make sure the HDMI cable is good (chased that for hours once). Also, do you have another monitor that you can test the camera with? TV? Something? Take the monitor out of the mix and see if it works with something else. Or, if you have another device that you can send an HDMI signal (like the TV), send it to the monitor. At least you'll know which one it is.
LOL! Yeah. I waited for the AndyCine for a bit before doing the review. There are so mc=uch the same except for the labeling, and the AnyCine comes with a case.
I have two Andy’s coming today. Don’t have that Canon, but curious: Did you have the same problem at certain FPS’s with the Feelworld? These look like they’re made by the same factory.
The Feelworld is a great little monitor ...but....my biggest complaint is the HDMI input is in the worst place (other than the top) being on the side and towards the top of the monitor. As an engineer, I'd have put the HDMI where the SD card is and the SD card where the HDMI out is.
Interesting. I have a real problem with monitors that have the HDMI port on the bottom. I mount the monitor close to the camera top, and when the cable comes out the bottom, it's too close to the camera and I have to rig it differently. Agree with the SD card slot on the side. Actually, what I would prefer is the HDMI port on EACH (4) sides of the monitor, can even be the same port which would disable the other three, then everyone would be happy. :)
Good video I did not get the video you sent me for some reason I don't get notifications that you replied to my comments I have the Bell on I use to get them. Also if I am already signed up for your website and newsletter and I in the drawing for the giveaway?
Thank you for your review sir! Due to failing eyes, I am about to order this. Due to being poor, it scares me to spend the money. Because of my love for photography, i desperately want to keep my images sharp and appealing. Missing the mark (focus) can feel demoralizing; especially when the built in LCD screen gives the false impression of a sharp image. Thank You Sir!!
Man...I fell for you...tough one. I o would consider the larger AnyCine 7” monitor and that will help - all the same features. If money is a problem, you might hunt around for a larger 7” (or bigger) monitor that doesn’t have all the spiffy features, 👍
@@BasicFilmmaker Thank You Very Much Sir! I honestly did my research, and I found what may work great sir! :) Thank You For Responding Back! Have a great sunday sir!! :)
For the display issue you are having.....I have the Vixia gx10 which is the XF405 minus the XLR inputs... try setting the max output resolution from the camera (independant from the recording resolution) to 1080P since the monitor cant display 4K anyways. Bottom of page 112 in the current manual. gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/6/0300028416/04/xf400-405-im4-n-en.pdf
As noted in the video, the FeelWorld does not come with a case. Mine didn't either. You can always return it and get the AndyCine if you want the case. I usually have this mounted on the camera and it doesn't bother me, but if I were traveling a lot with it, it would.
The v2 of the Andycine Plus has the USB-C port. The v1 does not but there is a firmware upgrade for the v1 that gives pretty much the same extended functionality of the v2.

You can turn it to matt screen anytime with a matt screen protection film.
Good idea. I'll have to try that and see f the touchscreen still works. Thanks!
Hi what's the battery life like when constantly on ? Duration roughly ? thanks
It's about 2 hours with the included battery. I don't use those, I either use the F970's (many hours) or plug into AC.
Does it have a waveform monitor?
thanks!
Welcome!
It Will work a mini HDMI to HDMI cable whit this monitor?
That’s how I use it on my Canon.
"I'd recommend both of them".... oh the suspense for that :'D
LOL! Yeah. I waited for the AndyCine for a bit before doing the review. There are so mc=uch the same except for the labeling, and the AnyCine comes with a case.
I have two Andy’s coming today.
Don’t have that Canon, but curious:
Did you have the same problem at certain FPS’s with the Feelworld? These look like they’re made by the same factory.
Exact same problem. Identical except as stated. I don’t know the politics around all this, but they are both great.
Kevin - The Basic Filmmaker So definitely the same factory.
No idea, although I would guess that. Tried following the chain and got nowhere. Was going to take one apart, but didn't want to break it.
@@BasicFilmmaker I use a "right-angle" adapter to resolve that issue but I can see the monitor is low profile.
@@PatrickLockerman LOL! Stupid me. I have something like three right-angle adapters sitting in a drawer. Time to go find them. 😂😂😂
2200nit?
Specs say so.
@@BasicFilmmaker thanks
@@mambiproductions8960 Most Welcome!
Good video I did not get the video you sent me for some reason I don't get notifications that you replied to my comments I have the Bell on I use to get them. Also if I am already signed up for your website and newsletter and I in the drawing for the giveaway?
This is what sent you: th-cam.com/video/fchHnWTIONQ/w-d-xo.html
@@BasicFilmmaker
Thank You Very Much Sir!
I honestly did my research, and I found what may work great sir! :)
Thank You For Responding Back! Have a great sunday sir!! :)

@@sheldonmurphy6031 Glad you found what you need no thanks for subscribing. Hopefully the videos I create will help you out.
do they both have USBC?
Only the latest FeekWorld one has USB-C. Make sure you research that if you really need it. What are you needing UBB-C for?
Kevin - The Basic Filmmaker ...convenience everything I own is usb c, for updates and powering the monitor that’s a plus for me.
@@Anthony_Eslami Ah! Thanks!
Thank you! Gave that a try and no go. ALL my other monitors have no problem with the 405 in any mode except these two.
@@BasicFilmmaker Set the HDMI Max Resolution in the camera menu to 1280x720. That worked for me (XA50).
My Feelworld F6+ did not come with that awesome case. (From B&H). Anyone else?
As noted in the video, the FeelWorld does not come with a case. Mine didn't either. You can always return it and get the AndyCine if you want the case. I usually have this mounted on the camera and it doesn't bother me, but if I were traveling a lot with it, it would.
Man, that sounds like a great monitor ... especially for that price point... . : +)
Hey Chuck! Yep. I'm really liking it.
They are not "exactly the same" Andycine has usb-c power in and the Feelworld doesn't. 😉 great video otherwise
Thanks. Interesting as my unit doesn't have USB-C. Later addition?
@@BasicFilmmaker probably my andycine a6 plus has usb-c 🤔
Only for power in and I guess firmware updates 🤷🏽♂️ I just got it in the mail today
The v2 of the Andycine Plus has the USB-C port. The v1 does not but there is a firmware upgrade for the v1 that gives pretty much the same extended functionality of the v2.
Sin-ee. Not sin. :)
LOL! You should hear me pronounce Sennheiser. Drives people nuts. :)
