Just changed the battery and discovered that taking out the tool tray under the seat (2 screws and slides out) makes taking and replacing the tank easy; no need to man-handle the tank.
Ducati has done sooo far backwards with time in terms of ease of servicing - it used to be one clip and tank popped up (no tools needed). What is wrong with them?!
italian bikes are the worst to service. going back to japanese after this. they are BUILT to be easily worked on, italians for style and use of ALLEN bolts, UCK
