  • Late February into early March is the best time to sow Phlox.
    They are daylight neutral so it’s the cooler temperature after germination that we rely on to bulk up plants.

    I have only just discovered you too! Handbook and videos are brilliant for those seeds I always had trouble with. With regards to Phlox needing cool for strong plants, at what point after germination do you remove them from the heat mat?

      Literally as soon as they poke through the compost.

    I think I missed the window this season. My phlox won't germinate 😔🌸🙏

      You need really nice fresh seeds, darkness and warmth. I just popped mine in the dining room on the floor xxx
